I thought I would pop a long overdue rating on here as I'm still getting alot of personal messages from brides getting married in Ibiza asking what companies they need to avoid & as this is the only one that I would not recommend I thought I would pop my review on here for others to see & as also requested by others....I Wouldn't even recommend 1 star - I booked MBS for my wedding in Ibiza & at the time the wedding was cancelled & postponed to the next year due to COVID, I requested to move my booking to the following year as I had paid a massive £377.50 deposit (50% of my booking whish is way more than any other company) yet they refused to move my booking & told me that I would be losing all of the money I paid as they classed it as a cancellation.... there were absolutely no T&C's in place or any policy in place at the time, which I made them aware of & also trading standards... (TS advised me to take it further, but I decided to take to social media instead & warn off others).... Yet they refused to move my booking & took all of the money I paid. At the time of looking for a makeup artist I had 2 in mind, this one & Kiss my fairy.... Makeup box studio we're bombarding me with messages at the time I enquired about pricing & dates, stating that the slot I was enquiring had other people wanting to book, so I told them to allow the other person to have the booking as I wasn't ready to part with my money just yet & yet they still pressured me with messages stating that it was still available & that I needed to pay the deposit asap as bookings in Ibiza were difficult to secure "that should have been a red flag right there" so I stupidly buckled under pressure & parted with a large sum of money... (I should have gone with my gut & booked Kiss my Fairy who we're amazing & not pushy at all & only requested a 10% deposit & we're also moving appointments along with the deposits, they were amazing - I ended up using them in the end & highly recommend to anyone getting married in Ibiza, all of the bride's I have recommended have been so pleased with the cost & their services ) I have managed to warn off alot of brides & alot have told me to pop a review on their website to warn off others... so here you go, here's my very negative experience with The MakeUp Box Studio... thanks to MBS the hair & make-up for my wedding ended up costing me almost double the amount of standard hair & make-up as not only did they take £377.50 from me, but I also had to pay for another makeup artist & hair stylist for myself & 7 others in my bridal party.Service: Bridal services

Lucie Mae was amazing! She was friendly, took her time and gave me the most amazing balayage refresh and curly blow dry. Even though it was my first time at makeup box it felt like I was sitting and talking with a friend. Couldn?t recommend Lucie enough and I will be telling all my friends about the amazing service I had! Thank you xx

5* experience! I had my makeup done by Emma and a blowdry with Zoe. The girls are so lovely, they made me look and feel so beautiful - my go to girls for glam. Highly recommend x
