Caffe Nero, Epping, is convenient and pleasant enough. The thing that lets it down is the need for a refurb. Some chairs are really worn and the decor needs freshening up. Worst of all the toilets are rather grotty and need a deep clean and new fixtures and fittings. This is true for the Loughton and to some extent Chingford cafes too. They really need to up their game. Its a shame for the staff, who try their best, and for the customers who pay a small fortune.

Went there on Saturday. Sign on door saying ?closing at 2pm?. Just shut it permanently.

The cappuccino and hot chocolate were good. The cream bun was amazing. The facility could have been cleaner. I was rather surprised that a 20% gratuity was automatically added to my bill without my knowledge. There really wasn?t any service provided other than putting our drinks on a tray for us to carry to our table ourselves. I probably would have left something if prompted.

No problems normally, but I ordered an iced latte, and requested a straw, to which the server (a young male) replied in a sarcastic rude manner "just so you know, your not supposed to drink those with a straw". Not sure why they felt the need to say this wether they were having a bad day or not it was bad customer service, Never had any problems with any if the other staff they are all lovely.

Has wide doors and lots of seating - which is very helpful if you have a pram. I feel I can sit in here for a while and breastfeed my baby and feel comfortable. The coffee is lovely.
