This is a fantastic place to go for a meal, whether it be lunch or dinner. The food is amazing, very well put together and the flavour combinations are just exquisite. The staff are brilliant at their jobs, friendly and helpful. The setting is also lovely. Highly recommend.
The Spotted Dog is a beautiful Grade II listed thatched pub just outside Dunmow and 15 minutes from Chelmsford, offering modern British cuisine made fresh with locally sourced ingredients.
Enjoy a set lunch menu from £18 or choose from our à la carte options, available Wednesday to Saturday for lunch (12:00–15:00) and dinner (18:00–21:00).
Sundays feature four roast options and our signature Sharing Roast Board, served 12:00–19:00.
