I?m no stranger to the daily ritual of handing over my hard-earned cash to the Esso garage in Church Road, Corringham, where the prices are so high you?d think they?d be suffering from vertigo. But when their tyre inflating machine decided to eat my coins like a greedy slot machine I thought the least they could do was to give me my money back. Instead, the guy behind the counter just shrugged his shoulders like I?ve asked him to explain quantum physics, and says ?no?. I?m not expecting a Michelin-starred experience here but you really do need to look after your customers. They are your bread and butter. Giving you five stars for consistency??
