Very slow service and it?s not the staff that are the problem it?s, staff shortage so when your not resourced appropriately, it compromises on the overall service and quality of the final product because it?s rushed.
Atmosphere very poor, mood very low. Lacks energy. Clearly we are not in London anymore .

Standard Starbucks on Colchester Retail Park next to the College - students get 10 per cent off with a student id. Good service, no drive thru. Free time limited car parking outside with 3 EV charging points.

Nothing wrong with the actual products and servers were friendly and quick. Low rating is for the place being "unable" to take cash. For this reason alone, I'm unlikely to return.

I am absolutely appalled at the behaviour of the blonde haired slicked back bun girl with light eyes. (Her name is Georgie)
My experience started wonderfully with the funny red haired lad (Matt) but the barista not only made the drinks incorrectly:
- a shaken espresso is SHAKEN
- these drinks should NOT come mixed.
- the espresso was still bloody warm in my drinks and OBVIOUSLY melted the light ice (this is what happens when you don't shake the espresso)
They came overfilled and with the lids not on which meant I had lost about £3 worth of that expensive liquid by the time I had even sat down to drink them which is infuriating to say the absolute least.
When we took them back, she was cold and defensive when given critical feedback on the drinks, that is not appropriate and makes me not want to come back to even replace the drinks.
You cannot present two non descript beige mixed liquids and tell me honestly they are different drinks, you have the systems and presentation that should be identical across every Starbucks for the sake of continuity. I know this as I have been a patron of Starbucks for over 10 years.
Please think about these things, processes, presentation and simply what facial expressions are appropriate to be doing in the presence of the customer especially when you are the one who messed up.
Sort this out with the training she clearly lacks.
I am a barista myself and these processes are followed for this exact reason.
All I can say is I am grateful to have been greeted by Matt on my return to replace the drinks who listened to my feedback and put things right.
I shall now be off to buy a new pair of white trousers which were martyred today as a result of this poor experience.

Used to have great experiences here but have been having awful ones recently - every time I order a delivery from here, they get my order wrong. Just got my order and they didn?t even get my drink somewhat correct - gave me the complete opposite! I used to come here after college all the time and never had an issue, but it seems like deliveries are different to ordering in person. Not usually the type of person to post stuff like this but it keeps happening and is becoming annoying.

Poor slow service. Tables not clean or cleared had to sit at table with other people's cups and rubbish. Asked for a one shot coffee but it was extra strong

Parking: Free parking spaces for two hours.
