We ordered delivery tonight and were truly impressed by how affordable the prices were. The delivery arrived in just 45 minutes, and I was thrilled not to have to step outside to locate the driver. He clearly paid attention to my notes, and I appreciate him taking the time to find the correct spot instead of driving around like some other drivers do. The food quality was outstanding, with no grease in sight. The chicken tikka masala was bursting with flavor, and it was refreshing to have it prepared this way rather than in a thick, creamy sauce. The onion bhajis and vegetable samosas were also delicious and, once again, not greasy. Additionally, we received complimentary poppadoms and drinks, which was a lovely gesture. We were genuinely impressed with this Indian takeaway and will certainly be ordering again soon. Thank you so much!

Just ordered for the first & last time! I ordered the southern Indian chicken chefs special. untenderised chicken strips in a curry sauce! This is NOT curry. I can do much better at home.

I have been here twice now. Definitely found my go to indian. I did wait a long time however they were very busy which is a good thing right?
When i got home they had put extra bits in which was lovely. The price is so good and quality of the food is amazing
Next time i shall order earlier lol but it was definitely worth the wait.
This place would do even better opening a restaurant.?

I had takeaway few times from sonali excellent food very tasty. Everytime I get takeaway from there the food is spot on I would recommend it to anyone who has not tried their food to order from them.

Ordered a takeout one onion fried rice/mushroom fried rice and a chicken korma, For starter we had the onion Bhaji & a cheese Nann bread this came with poppadum sauce and salad all for £35 money well spent, Highly recommend tho I would like to visit the restaurant for the full experience xx ??

Been using sonali for over a year now, these guys are by far the best in Colchester! Highly recommend the mixed starter generous portions and lots of flavour, always get the green massala it?s one of the best curry?s I have ever had! Delivery time always fast! Big portions and big flavours!

amazing portions!! takes a little while, but that's a GREAT thing in my opinion, because the food was super fresh & hot. some of the best I've had, really great ? lamb rogan was flavorful & tender, and the Bombay aloo was top tier.
