It's great having a proper toy shop in the area. Prices are fine, selection is great. Golly the staff are miserable.
I echo all other sentiments - surely this can't be good for business, isn't there some regional oversight?
Always ask yourself - is this the experience the founder or owner intended for me to have at their store today?
Something is desperately wrong. I hope people shop here, and I hope they sort staff morale out.

Really not worth spending money here. No staff look happy or interested. Get treated like you?re stealing something when you?re not. Really weird experience. Better places to get games and toys.

Ordered a parcel to be delivered I'm still hasn't been dispatched on the day it was meant to be delivered sent a messge no one has responded to me. Tried to ring the store no one is answering very disappointed. Will never use again.

Staff seem to not want to be there, rude, arrogant and always seem to avoid customers at all times ? i mean atleast smile for god sake, ITS FREE!! ? the whole bunch are like walking zombies ???? And when questions are asked, they reply with an attitude like todays experience buying my little bro a pressent. If you dont want to be there go somewhere else. Just a question ? how am i supposed to know the item is damaged when its in the box ? ??? Till lady which gave me an attitude told me i cant return it if its been opened unless its damaged lol ? OK?? So what, am i supposed to have xray vision to see through the box to see if its damaged or faulty. Please explain. ?

Item brought Thursday afternoon online at £34.99 to collect in store Saturday morning. Only to find out that smyths had cancelled my order 7,34am Sat morning. I went to the store anyway to ask why , apparently it was more than 48 hours which it wasn?t. There was nothing they could do , manger said I should read the teams and conditions , basically small print. Haha so void.
Rather than them offer to see if they had the item in store anyway , I though I would ask.
YES they did for£10 more ?item was now £44,95
So they cancelled my order within my collection time and raised the price by £10
coincidence or im born yesterday.
However found it later that day in the entertainer in Colchester for £25

Manager is very unprofessional. Wouldn't return a faulty item even with proof of purchase. Then told to leave store as apparently I was aggressive.
