I ordered mu item online after trying for several wks to get 1 if u drive or no someone with a car ots OK but if like me u have to get a bus its a nightmare quite a long walk from wear u get off bus at penrose and partners vets u have cross over road and walk all way down on yo another road then walk all.way Fownhope that to bottom then have to up another road on to smeatten close so I getting anything heavy like a oil filled radiator like me it's a long walk wouldn't suggest to anyone that has to get get a bus unless buying something light

Using screwfix for years as in the trade. Had enough of this company now especially this shop. Rude, unbelievably lazy & arrogant. Just go across the road to toolstation. I'm totally done with screwfix now.

Sells stuff that you need to fix problems in your house. Ordered online, turn up, enter the code into the machine and then they come up with the order. Like a DIY Argos. Decent amount of parking out front and easy to get to (little tucked away off the main road, but google maps directions get you there without issue)

They have a new system for your click and collect. You have to find a free terminal then type the long order number and then wait.... I mentioned to the duty manager that a barcode scanner would be better - "Its the way of the future" he said unempathically. Clearly he doesn't shop - he would soon tire of typing in the item number from his tin of beans. His parting shot was to say "have a nice day" twice in a sarcastic tone. I know it was sarcasm since I mentioned it and he managed to say it nicely. Avoid - It used to be a nice place to visit but no more - must be "the way of the future". Happily, Toolstation is just across the road.
