Rubix is my go to for a good night out in Colchester. Its friendly and welcoming. The staff are brilliant and very attentive,the service is always 5?. I have also used this venue for a work party, would 100% recommend.

We attended here last night and our friend was attacked randomly.Bouncers did not kick out the person who attacked him and the same person repeatedly started to cause fights with our group.Bouncers made it clear that as they had paid for a VIP area they wouldn?t be asked to leave. We are told to leave or go downstairs despite us being the victims in the situation.Security and management are extremely poor here and have failed to keep customers safe and prioritise money over safety.Definitely do not recommend this place!

Had a great night out with friends, a fabulous soundtrack of all those feel good 80s & 90s singalong classics, its free to get in on Friday and they have good cocktails. The drinks prices were reasonable and it is a well lit venue with a good party atmosphere, gets a bit warm when it's full but who cares when you're having fun!

We all went here after Oktoberfest and it was an absolute brilliant place to end our night. Great atmosphere, everyone is friendly and all the 80's hits that everyone signs along to. 100% recommend Rubix!

Have had many a cracking night out at Rubix, staff are really friendly and a great laugh. Drinks are pretty decent. Music is so cheesy you?ll know all the words to all the songs played.Karaoke is a go to! Get drinking and sing your heart out, no on judges you!

Went here yesterday and my mate was punched for no reason, the bouncers then decided to kick us out instead of the group that were with the lad that caused the issue. This was because they had paid for a booth upstairs so they said it was easier to remove our group. Absolutely ridiculous that this was allowed to happen, wouldn?t go anywhere near this place again.

DONT GO HERE!!! BOUNCERS DONT MAKE YOU FEEL SAFE!!!!!Came here last night and was really disgusted by the bouncers. My friend got punched in the head upstairs for absolutely no reason, just some drunk guy starting fights out of no where. And the bouncers wouldn't throw the guy out. And they were very very biased just because the guy has a VIP booth.Our group was told we had to leave or go downstairs when we had just been attacked just because they had spent money on a VIP booth.THE BOUNCERS HERE PRIORITISE MONEY OVER SAFETY and its disgustingWe ended up leaving in the end as why would we want to be in a club where we have been made to feel unsafe and like the bouncers don't care about people starting fights. They only threw the guy out when we threatened to call the police and do him for assault.Bloody disgusting place don't go here if you want a normal and safe night out!!!!
