Recently moved to the village, always like to support local businesses. However, after the first time of trying Queens Tandoori, I am reluctant to try again. Takeaway served in less than 10 mins which sounds great. Got food home but found the heat (spice) was right, but the flavour of the sauce was weak and quite watery tasting. Really hoped for more.

Sadly we only received one rice when we ordered three. Their response was that didn?t happen. We also ordered a lamb curry but they actually provided beef. Their response is we are lying. Very disappointed.

I'm guessing it's under new ownership since some of these reviews were given, in my opinion this is probably the best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten in. Definitely the best since moving to Colchester 12 years ago.
I always collect, so I can't comment on the delivery side of things

I never leave reviews but I was shocked to see that queens tandoori wasn?t higher in theirs. I often get take away either collecting or have it delivered. The spice is perfect and the dishes are always full, with a nice amount of chosen meat or prawns within. They have always accommodated to changing small things around at my request and for local Indian food, it?s great. This isn?t a restaurant to sit in and have your meal, so this may be where they have lost some better reviews, but if you?re happy to enjoy it at home, you certainly will have a lovely meal.

I tried the Queen?s Tandoori for the first time and the food was delicious. The medium size chicken madras was just the right size for me. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be eating from them again.?

I?ve just had my first delivery of Indian food since moving to Earls Colne, and it was delicious. I will definitely be ordering the medium chicken madras curry which was just the right size for me. The chap on the phone was helpful and the driver was very friendly. My delivery was received in good time and it was hot. ??????????
