Today I visited Lloyds to open a bank account, 2 september afternoon There was a guy whose name I don?t know, but he was extremely helpful, He personally took care of everything and provided excellent customer service.? Thanks so much shaved head youre le?end

Just leaving the branch now, and wow! So glad I switched from Barclays to Lloyds! Customer service was amazing, saluting in the entrance and solved my query in minutes. A big well done to the staff here ?

waiting for 1 and half hours without being served properly and eventually we walked out.
Too disrespectful behaviour.
Will never recommend this particular branch.

I followed my friend's advice and went to Lloyds Nank to apply for an account. On November 25, 2024, I took my one-and-a-half-year-old daughter to apply. During the application, I met a staff member who was very friendly, had good service, and was very patient. I thought the application was approved, but it showed that there was a problem with the system. She told me to wait for the email at home or go to the bank again the next day to consult the staff. On the third day, I went to the bank again. A staff member named Judy served me (I am not sure about this name because she knew that I was dissatisfied with her service, so she deliberately did not let me see her work badge). I told her that my English was not good and we needed to use translation software to communicate! Then she asked me to take out my ID. She told me that my passport was a Chinese passport and could not prove my identity. She asked me to show my BRP card. I told her that I didn't have it and only had an electronic visa to prove my identity! Although I told her that the Immigration Bureau did not issue BRP cards, she kept asking if there were other IDs. I kept explaining that I could see the email from the Immigration Bureau that could prove my identity, but she refused! And her attitude was very bad, and she kept arguing with me in English, which was obviously disrespectful to me. When I asked her what her name was, I saw that she was a little scared. At this time, I called the manager out, and the manager's reply was the same, but his attitude was softer than hers! This is totally racial discrimination!!! I will sue you!!!Very poor service from staff??????

Barely competent on any level. Some of the staff have a nice line in passive / aggressive and patronising behaviour. Expect to be shunted around from pillar to post, and for the simplest things to take absolutely ages.

This branch should be closed down, staff unwilling to help and total chaos. McDonald?s down the road is run far better than this bank. Had money stuck in deposit machine and instead of getting it sorted immediately had to wait for a good 45 minute for then be told someone would contact me once it has been rectified. Money did eventually land into the account however nobody did contact as promised. Also they refused to open my mother in law a bank account despite having all documents, claiming that they needed some more proof of address even though I did show them a NHS letter, went 3mt down the road and opened in 15 minutes with HSBC. Wonder why all branches are closing and hope this one is next on the list.

Such an awful bank. No sign saying customer service. So hanging around looking for a staff member. Ended up seeing a random woman sitting at a huge table, with a tiny tablet. No name badge. Then got told to sit down. Along with the other 7 people waiting. After 20mins some young man came over, with the tiny tablet. No private room to talk. Just in front of the other people waiting. Such a huge space, used badly. Very tired chairs. No official customer service area. Really tempted to close my accounts.

Been there yesterday and I have to say that this branch lacks the minimum standards of being professional. Very disorganised, lady with green top was at the front with no name badge to display seem to be forced to come to work as her attitude towards customers is all passive aggression. I wanted to deposit a cheque but the way I was treated as a customer was shocking first they told me no need for queueing and I can just fill a form since it is international deposit then hand it to the lady at the front. When I approached the lady at the front she got really annoyed and told I need to go back to my original queue!!! This my experience but i have seen this lady at the front being rude to other people as well in a very passive aggressive way. Such a shame that Lloyds bank have now come to standard where customer service is almost non existent.
