The Sunday morning of the August bank holiday weekend I managed to get a puncture and needed the car to move my daughter into a flat in London that afternoon. Dropped into Kwik Fit to see if there was anything they could do. They were fully booked with only two staff but they managed to squeeze me in and did a fabulous job, replacing both rear tyres at a good price. Really dug me out of a hole! Thanks! Can't recommend them highly enough!

Massive thanks to James an the crew @Colchester Kwiks North Station road...
PROPERLY saved my day today with an emergency alignment issue, i hadn't even a booking but the lads made a spot an set to work.
A Difficult car to work on as well but one seized track rod end an a full alignment done to be sure all well an the ole girls running straight as an arrow again?
We use both Colchester and Sudbury for MOTs/Tyres/Alignments and have done for many many years.
NEVER an issue at either branch, always go the extra mile an today was as always no exception...
James even greased my valve caps up lol, now thats PROPER service and attention to detail ?
He insisted he gave everything related to the running gear a once over even though very busy and unbooked, its a family car so he insisted we both be happy everything is safe, very kind indeed when you've young children to ferry about.
He showed me the fault, explained the options/potential outcomes both good/bad and what he was going to do to try an rectify it without additional parts.., then simply did so.
Walked through every step, no hidden surprises just straight up honest work executed with proper integrity.
Absolute life savers!!
Top job Kwik fit for hiring such decent fellas, they're a credit to your brand.

Somethings changed at this branch, I took my car in for a front passenger tyre replacement.
Upon a vehicle inspection check I was informed quite forcefully that my two rear tyres needed changing. This is all very strange considering I had a full vehicle health inspection check at both BMW and an independent garage the week before (service and brake fluid respectively).
So I was rather baffled that neither of these two garages had said anything, when I viewed the images on the screen at Kwik fit, the tyres which were deemed illegal were not illegal, they had two tiny marks which were perfectly fine and I?ve never seen anything like it. Seems like this garage is trying to force customers into unnecessary repairs. Luckily for me i have some car sense and knowledge but it won?t be long until an innocent customer falls foul of their tactics
Kwik fit sudbury is much better and recommend using this branch instead.

They changed my front 2 tires but were likely under inflated as they were 15 PSI the following weekend. I filed a complaint and they checked them over for free again which was nice, however they were then 40 PSI after this so I think they had actually overinflated them the second time.
I did try to complain again twice and I?ve just been ignored. So super hit and miss sadly.
I?ve already tried the contact form and that?s where I get ignored. I can try again but not holding my breathe..

The chap in charge was ok and doing his best with what he had!
Along with the very slow workers in the workshop it takes ages to get anything done! 4pm on fri I turned up for a puncture, by the time I left at 5.40 I'd had two tyres, which took 45mins to fit. Back on sat for another tyre at 11am!.. well that was 1hr 15mins for one tyre!!
it just seems everyone is in a daze and not communicating!!. Another thing the phones dont get answered, the waiting room is in disarray, needs clearly marking and seperation is needed from customer and employees!!... unfortunately i won't be coming back to this branch!!...

Poor communication and exaggerated faults found finding in my opinion(not clear on their forms about what is an urgent fault). Certainly won?t be using this branch again, Sudbury branch was far better, so was Braintree also.
