Poor Customer Service Over a Simple Return
I bought a top from this H&M store a few days ago. After trying it on at home with other clothes, I realised it just wasn?t my style. I took the tag off but kept it, and the top was never worn or washed?just stored briefly in my wardrobe.
When I went back to return it, the staff refused, saying it smelled like washing powder. I explained that it hadn?t been used or washed, but they still wouldn?t accept it. What I find even stranger is that in the past, I?ve returned items that were genuinely a bit worn without any problem. This felt really inconsistent and unfair.
Very disappointed with the way this was handled. I expected better customer service and a more reasonable approach.

Good selection. Don't like the new dystopian checkouts. The queues were long at normal checkouts. Because no one likes the new checkout system.

Helpful staff when I went, although I needed a click and collect and it wasn't very clear that you need to collect from the fitting rooms. There's a sign at the desk explaining the difference between what can be done at self service and what can be done at the till, maybe adding that click and collect is at the fitting rooms would help. Otherwise everything was clean and staff were friendly and helpful!

Really nice H&M. I love the stores simplistic style and modern look. Incredibly clean and very nice range of products. They have some lovely jewellery which have really great prices. Their men?s section is one of the best I?ve seen with various products you can?t get anywhere else. They?re different, stylish and are constantly keeping up with trends. 10/10.
