Can never get through. The call just cuts you off time after time

Congratulations to the med centre who clearly don't look at someone's records before threatening to refuse to authorise medication. My son who has multiple issues managed by several hospitals, including for his type 1 diabetes has not had a diabetes review at the surgery. This is not deliberate but has to be fitted in with the numerous otherappointments that he has and his diabetes is very well managed . How long doessurgery think someone can live if refused their insulin!?

Please change the system so non urgent appointments can be made in advance and those needing urgent on the day appointments can get through. Ive been trying for 2 days to get a non urgent appointment to no avail. My doctor is only in on certain days so its going to take a couple of weeks I think. I actually got through twice today at 8am and 10 past - but got cut off and then permanently engaged until got through at no 49 but had to go to work. My elderly mother no longer calls leaving it to several relatives to try all at once - further blocking up the system! :(

9/10 I have a positive experience if I do need to contact this drs. Once or twice I have encountered someone who is perhaps new that didn?t know how to help. Usually however the receptionists are generally very kind and helpful. Have called late in the day before and even if there isn?t an app with a dr they have always suggested other solutions. Such a better experience than with my previous surgery, in what is a very hard job and hard time for the NHS.

It's so in personal they might as well be a robot but hey for the NHS system I vote for private care and all my NHS contributions refunded be nice so I can go private

After calling from dot on 8am, continuous message ?we are currently experiencing very high call levels, please call back later? I managed to get on the queue after 12 minutes of continuous trying at number 50 in the queue.I finally spoke to an operator after 46 minutes on hold (58 minutes in total at this point) with the most painful, repetitive hold music (it must be agony for anyone with hearing aids or sensory differences), after first listening to an out of date message regarding Covid and wearing a mask to the practice. I told her the reason for my call (regular and long periods of palpitations and dizziness) only 1 appt available in another surgery this afternoon at 3pm, or a call back from triage, but added they might not have appts left if I wait for triage, or I can call back tomorrow. When I asked if I could have an earlier appt, how could it be that despite calling on 8am and following the system, there were no appts at my own surgery? She could not let me have a reserved appt, these were for triage use only. I said I found that quite concerning, I was told I was being offered an appt and refusing it! It is incredibly discriminating to assume people have jobs/no jobs or responsibilities, where they can just up and leave for appts without planning ahead for cover. It isn?t about the appointment ?not being convenient? for me, it is about the real world and not being able to just walk out when I feel like it! And for the lack of concern for any health problem, frankly alarming. I have been with Creffield since I was born, unfortunately the service is unrecognisable from when the practice was located in Creffield Road. Clients are people, with responsibilities and despite the idea the service is free and we should be grateful, it is not, it is paid for from the stoppages from our salaries/income each month.I was not rude, I was just trying to understand how the service offer was so limited and how I could make it work without causing huge problems with work. Defensive staff are indicative of regular issues. It seems the practice has way too many patients and the group is becoming too large to be effective, operating with current systems. I have tried before to get through and given up, but am feeling too unwell to leave it. I have been in before about my issue, told I would likely get fitted with a device that checked my heart for a week? then nothing. I was told last time to go to A&E while the issue is occurring but often, by the time I arrive on site, it has settled. Now have a phone app (which I have to pay for), which has picked up irregularities. DIY health care? not the best?!Apparently, according to the receptionist, there is no walk in centre anymore either, just urgent care, which is A&E. So what is the answer, to wait until you are unwell enough to go to A&E if you can?t get an appointment you can attend?

I was still in surgery when Dr called me and after asking few questions ,she made a face to face appointment for 45 minutes later.I was seen by Dr Claire Cooper.she was professional, polite and understanding.

Does not matter when you call there is either a message saying due to high call rate please call back later or you are 48th-49th in the queue. The joke is they are still open to taking in new patients when they can?t look after or offer care to those already registered.

Generally bad experience , we live literally walking distance. Visited three times within couple of day due to incorrectly issued prescription and My Wife has been told by receptionist that we come there to often and should give a chance to others ! Very rude receptionist . It is a shame for NHS!

I have had to visit the surgery 3 times this year, which has been the first time in over a decade or indeed since they moved, so with no expectations I was delighted by the all round service. Waiting times on the phone were not too bad and both the doctors I have seen and the reception staff (including the car check-in lady) have been professional, polite and understanding. With the horror stories you hear of NHS doctor surgeries both in parking and getting appointments, I have had no issues whatsoever on each of the 3 occasions. The parking has been good and the surgery has been well kept, clean, airy and spacious. Maybe I have been fortunate, but I can say nothing but positive things about this surgery in my visits and give them nothing but praise in what I am sure can be a very demanding job in all aspects of surgery running.

Constantly get prescriptions wrong, not good for anyone let alone someone with mental health issues.Still not improved since I wrote this review. My partner who is bipolar has constant troubles getting her medication.

Why is it every time I try to call this surgery it says, (we are currently experiencing very high call volumes? ) Called twice this morning around 5 past 8! but that?s what I kept getting. I don?t always call to get help and I certainly don?t want to see GP if I don?t really need to! Even if I have chest infection I?d get over it at home and I even still go to work with it. But this time, I need to. But if this what I?m getting all the time when I call for help, then forget it!!!
