“Hotel was basic but fine. Friendly staff, comfy room, god breakfast. Wifi cut out and was slow when it did work, this was premium wifi. Room was very cold when I entered and took three hours to get to a normal temperature. Shower had no hot water, warm and cold only.”

“I know this is the wrong store page, I can’t find the correct one but I had to write a review on my experience today at Tesco express Colchester on Magdalen St. I was quite nervous as I’m still getting used to being a new Mum. My baby was crying and a wonderful woman called Paige noticed me and offered to help, she interacted with my daughter and took my basket and ask me what I needed and went round the shop with me, she even helped at the checkout. Honestly outstanding customer service. She’s such a great asset to the store and takes pride in what she does. I’m not sure she’ll see this but know that we need more people like you in this world. If any staff member from the store comes across this review please say well done to her. Thank you for your help and understanding today Paige.”

Often have items on sale which is nice and also have a range of seasonal items such as chocolates or advent calendars for my kids. Very local so I can just walk here which is nice”

“Huge shoutout to Ray and Michelle who went above and beyond to help me on Thursday. I’d accidentally locked myself out with no phone or keys — police and fire brigade couldn’t help and three other local shops refused. Ray and Michelle found a locksmith, and after 3 hours I was back in my house. Michelle’s recommendation was prompt and brilliant. I’m honestly in tears writing this — I don’t know what I’d have done without them. Thank you so much. Love you both, Danielle xx”
“99.9%...all staff always helpful, apart from one very, always, miserable woman, you'll know who if you get stuck with her, I do time and time, could make a joke or comment on weather, she looks at you as if you had asked if she was wearing red knickers today and always snappy....some people....wonder if she even owns red knickers, probably all grey....apart from that great!”
