Convenient self service, delicious raw milk and beef. Experience let down a bit by numerous flies in the shop, but it is a working farm so probably unavoidable!

Aaaaahhhhh - my favourite! Love milk products, bought great fresh ox tale for stew, gorgeous eggs, ice cream! ( met young lady who were naking it there and then), pies . Two friendly dogs- receptionists, meeting and greeting : made my day.

Thought we would take a drive here today, we had raw milk on holiday and were keen to have some more. What a great place apart from the milk there was raw cream (keeping that for tomorrow) and a couple of fridges full of meat. Well, this week we will be testing sausages and beefburgers the pies we picked up we had this evening. All I can say is yum they were packed full of tender juicy beef in a really rich tasty gravy. My husband will always find a chewy bit but today he was unsuccessful. Next time, and there will be a next time, I will bring a cooler bag with ice blocks because there was a freezer full of icecream.

We were driving through Bures on Saturday when we saw the Farmers Market, I bought two pies (both were excellent) and some rump steak. The steak was cooked to medium rare on the BBQ and I have to say it was the best steak ever, incredibly tender. I have cut down my meat consumption a lot, however when eaten it is good to have the best you can. i will visit again.

Quaint little self service farm shop, accepts card or cash. Raw milk and cream available! Which was our reason for making the trip. Good selection of meat, pies and sausage both fresh and frozen. Will be back for sure!
