Dropped off a kitten today that was wandering in the road (around 8-9 weeks old they think) and I took it to them and they were so professional/caring and set up a sanctuary for it immediately?incredible service and dedication ??

The staff were so helpful and obviously cared deeply for the cats. I adopted Trevor (aka Joker) and he is perfect.

Both the late great Honeybee & the most recent addition, Rosie, came from here. They take great care in ensuring the right cat goes to the right house & they aren't situated on a busy road (for obvious reasons)!

One of the sadest days of my life but staff stayed neutral and professional. I have no doubt my boy will be looked after and found a loving forever home.

We went there for adoption of a cat for our neighbor she is73 years old and wanted to adopt a kitty for her daughter who is 53. They made us fill in the paper and never got back lol. Sure this way those poor cats will be rehomed. Sad working

Excellent place. I have had three cats from Colchester Cat Rescue. Yes they do ask pertinent questions on their form but only because they care about their cats and want the best for them. It also helps them to profile which cats on site would be best suited. I would recommend getting a copy of their form via email in advance and taking it with you. Like-wise to print off a couple of pictures of your location from google maps.

Nice but so many questions and hoops to get a cat.

The volunteers were very knowledgeable and put the welfare of the cats first. The centre was clean, tidy and well organised. We visited twice and chose to re-home two cats. The volunteers made sure we had all the information and items we needed, and were very helpful.

As soon as I walked in with my partner and my little girl I was met with a very rude and abrupt female member of staff. We left before seeing any cats as I did not appreciate the way we were spoken to for no reason
