Absolutely amazing customer service! I got my first ever ear piercing today, Julie made sure she and I were 100% satisfied with it before the procedure. Once done, I got up and suddenly felt dizzy as well as nausea at the till. The staff could see me clinging to my boyfriend, and immediately took action; bin, glass of water, paper tissues, reassurance and comfort. I literally couldn't have wished for a better experience. A huge thank you to the team for being so patience and supportive! (I wish I could mention their names, but I was pretty out of it)

I went to Claire's in Colchester at the end of January and the assistant manager was amazing, I'm disabled and in a wheelchair and she accommodated my needs. She helped me understand the 3 for £10 offer and was always smiling, even when she had to left me to serve another customer she was so polite about it. I'll definitely be going back to this Claire's.

Today, I shopped at Claire?s. I really enjoy shopping at this particular Claire?s because the store manager Colchester Josie is amazing. Even when I only spent £1, she greeted me with a warm smile and patiently helped me check the prices of the items without any hint of annoyance. She never looks down on anyone or gives bad attitudes. Thank you, and I hope you have a wonderful day. The owner is truly lucky to have an employee like her. Under her leadership, the assistant manager and all the staff at this store all wonderful as well. They always wear a smile.

I live in Witham, and we don?t have a Claire?s store here, I am happy to travel to Colchester Claire?s ,the staff at the Claire?s in Colchester are absolutely amazing! The store manager was so warm and friendly when assisting my sister, and the store was spotless with everything organized perfectly. The staffs at Colchester was incredibly patient .A special thank you to the manager and the staff .Highly recommend this store for a great shopping experience ??????

I had such a great shopping experience at Claire?s this morning! Special thanks to the manager, Josie, who was so kind and approachable. She patiently answered all my questions and even introduced me to some great deals. Thanks to her, I found lots of affordable and fun items for my daughter?s party bags. Highly recommend this store and Josie?s excellent service!

The store itself is always well
Presented, clean and organised.
Without fail upon arrival the staff are always so friendly & welcoming,. 9 times out of 10 I can normally find what I?m looking for and when asked if there?s anything they can help
Me with i normally decline and thank them anyway, on this particular occasion, Josie the store manager, greeted me asked if I needed any help and I said yes! She was fantastic! She knew exactly what I was after just from a very bad explanation of what I was needing, she took me over to the section of store they was in, talked me through all the options they had and the offers that they had on in store!
Excellent customer service from Josie she went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase and If there was anything else I needed that she could help with!
This is the level of customer service that brings people back!

I visited the store today to purchase earrings and was assisted by the assistant manager. Despite my indecisiveness, they were incredibly kind and professional throughout.
Both the store manager and assistant manager were welcoming and served me with a smile. I didn?t catch their names but noticed their manager badges.
The excellent customer service has ensured I?ll definitely be returning.

We went today Dec 31st, 2024 around 2pm to have my daughter?s ears pierced. It was busy as there was only one staff. She told us from the outset that she was alone and explained she can only pierce one ear at a time and if my daughter refuses to have her second ear done, i would still pay for the full amount. Which I completely understood and acknowledged. Through all of this, i could already sense the animosity in the staff?s voice and the unwelcoming tone maybe due to pressure. People line up at the till and we were waiting in the piercing area. She made me sign the consent form, told me she will leave us at any point in time to attend to other customers. I was still patient even though her words were very rude, telling us she would leave us like we were not also customers who would pay for their services and their products. She came back to us and left multiple times 5-6 times as she either forgot something or will check something at the back or go back to the till. Finally she came and marked my daughter?s ears which were obviously uneven (her markings) but she dismissed my concerns and said they were fine. I agreed just to get it over and done with. But She left again after this when another customer asked for the cashier. She came back after some time and was already sobbing, though apologetic, telling all of us that she needed to close the store for 5 minutes as she needed a moment to breathe. I was speechless and can?t help but be annoyed coz obviously she wasn?t in the right state to pierce my kid?s ears or anyone?s for that matter. All customers had to forcibly leave the store leaving us with no choice, wasting all our efforts and time altogether. I was aghast at the utter lack of professionalism & poor customer service. I dismissed her unwelcoming tone from the outset so I can give my daughter her first experience with her ear piercing. I would have been more compassionate to her if she treated us nicely from the start. But all I saw was a brat who couldn?t handle work pressure and had to close the store when she?s had too much. Claire?s should screen their employees and make the necessary adjustments for their staff well-being ie not let them work alone during the holiday rush. But hey lady, you signed up for it didn?t you. You could have told us NO from the very beginning to avoid wasting both our time. My 4 year old daughter was crying as we were getting out of the store which made me feel worse because she expected and already picked her earrings. On top of all this, I didn?t even receive a courtesy call from her to reschedule or that we can come back. We were on a very tight schedule due to holiday errands but we made time for Claire?s as this was our priority. Also, the store was very dirty, earrings and toys on the floor. Really bad experience.

I had my thirds pierced today with Julie and it was such a lovely experience! She is very friendly and professional. You can tell she is very passionate about her job and it was an all round pleasurable experience. They have such a wide range of earrings to choose from and then you get a free pair of earrings every month for a year! Would definitely recommend getting pierced here.

I have been today at Claire?s in Colchester town for a refund. I bought 6 products the other day and I went to bring back one item.The lady was closing the door to go outside for a fag and she asked me to wait for her to have her fag and then she will come in to deal with my refund.I have waited 5 minutes by the door for her to come and open the door.She was fair from being polite too and she looked very annoyed and unprofessional dealing with my query.
