“This is just a short note to thank you for supplying me with your beautiful 2021 calendars. These are always well received as Christmas gifts, and I know give real pleasure throughout the year. The one problem, unfortunately, is that the railway and commercial road vehicles paintings are of such superb quality, that none of us has the heart to discard them when the year has finally past.Doubtless I'll be pestering you again in 12 months' time for my 2022 calendars.I appreciate that it is somewhat early, but please accept my kindest regards and good wishes for Christmas and the year to come; I hope it will be less traumatic than 2020 has so far been for us all.”

“Tremendous value for money, and we never fail to come out with a few things. Mainly good for kids' toys and art supplies, but they also have a pretty eclectic selection of remaindered books, and I have bought a couple of really good history books here at bargain prices. There is a bit of an awkward threshold for wheelchair and push-chair users, and it is difficult to move around if there is any number of people in the store, as they make the most of a limited space. Friendly service.”

“The Harrods of the card shop industry, where an £8 card costs 99p at the Card Factory. Lucky for old Clintons, the cards over at The Card Factory are mostly terrible - lots of teddy bears carrying hearts or words so mushy, it'll make you feel ill. Thankfully, Clintons stocks a wide range of more traditional cards with some great and inspiring words inside. Another plus is that Clintons is so expensive, only the rich and stupid (like me) seem to shop here, so there's rarely a queue.”
