For a second week stinks terrible inside, some worker told me it's caused by fridge.
Come on people they selling food ... Disgusting ?.
Though about buying a coffee but the smell pushed me away to spend money at McDonald's instead .

Helpful, enough parking, toilets well maintained and good selection of goods to buy (M&S / Marks & Spencer food shopping). Fuel also of course. Good for a quick stop. McDonalds adjacent.

I put fuel in my car and walked into the shop. I started looking at sandwiches when a member of staff told me their payment system had crashed and they couldn't take any payments. I asked if I could leave cash for the fuel and was told no. I asked if I could leave my driving licence with them and return after work to pay and was told no. I asked how long it would take to pay and was met with a shrug. I was told I couldn't buy the food I'd picked up so I put it back. It was then suggested I spoke with the manager which I did. The manager equally initially repeatedly told me I couldn't pay for anything, despite there being another customer being served at the tills. I asked what they do if someone is unable to pay (i.e. can't someone leave their details and return to pay later?). I was told they didn't do this. The manager and all the staff seemed *extremely* stressed out. I again explained that I needed to get to work and needed to pay for the fuel I had dispensed. The manager then said words to the effect of "Oh you can pay for fuel you've already got". I was confused as to why they would think I was trying to pay for fuel I hadn't yet dispensed. I told the manager that her colleague informed me they couldn't take payment for anything at all. The manager then said "you should understand how difficult this situation is for us to deal with", I explained I could only act upon information given to me by them both. The manager did then snidely acknowledge her colleague had miscommunication with me. I asked if I could still buy the food I had already put back and was told I had to pay for the fuel alone first. This was said to me like I was trying to steal the fuel. I paid for the £30 of fuel before quickly getting the wrap etc I'd originally picked up and then again paying for this alone.An absolute shambles of a team panicking and miscommunicating. When you all stress and fail to communicate clearly with customers when they're on their way to work, it might stress the customer out too.Won't use this BP again. Customers of the same gender to the staff were being treated with much more respect. Only 1 member of staff (the one on the middle till) was remotely empathetic of the situation.

Free parking for +/-5 trucks, the store staff is friendly, the restroom is clean.
