Apparently prescription text reminders are sent based on collection date of drugs, not the dispensing date.

Bad customer service, and I felt discriminated by the manager continuously just because I am not white and I buy the same medicine, not even that often i buy that medicine, 3 months once, even less, very occasionally. He remembered my face everytime when I went there. This time he was very rude in front of other customers and said you shouldn't be coming here for this again. I felt discriminated - because my white friend goes even more often and gets the same medicine and has never been asked anything before. Wivenhoe should be a safe place for internationals, but people like this prove otherwise!

Staff don't seem to have a clue about basic, common medications, what stock they have, or where to find it.
The service always feels slow and clumsy.
They also only ever stock the most expensive versions of basic medications and are not open to constructive feedback on this.

Think they get a lot of stress in that shop...which causes them to treat the customer as the enemy. Maybe not all the time but enough that its detrimental.

It ought to be a great community pharmacy; sadly it isn't. It may only need some really basic system and process review because everyone has to wait and the staff often take an inordinate length of time (often looking seemingly randomly for orders) Which is a pity because the GP process to commission prescriptions appears very efficient. I'm a big fan of Pharmacies and their ability to be an alternative option for minor ailments but Boots, Wivenhoe feels too busy and a dash chaotic...at the moment.

I only put one star I wouldn?t have given any if I?ve had a choice if I hadn?t of left one star I would not of been able to leave this review. I am absolutely fuming. My mother has been to the chemist six times in two days for one prescription, and every time she?s been messed around This time. The pharmacist was talking to her and he apologised that my mum explained that she came in four times previously and the Filipino girl called her a liar and told her no you haven?t. You have only been in here twice when it was actually proven, she had been in six times in all?. Who does she think she is tree in my mother like that and calling her a liar I?m complaining to BOOTS at the highest level and I hope she gets what he deserves.!!!!!

The lady with the very white hair and glasses who works in Boots could really do with going on a customer service course. I found her to be rude, dismissive and totally unprofessional when she dealt with me this morning . On the other hand the young woman , with the nose stud, could not have been more helpful.

Worse boots in the world in their own la la land amd get it wrong every single time . They said sorry we have all your prescriptions exept 3 (out of 4) doesnt make sense just say you only have one lol.where did u find these staff?

It's not the quickest place on earth. 2 people in front of me. It took them 35 minutes before any prescriptions came out. Charged one person, then 20 minutes later, he told him no boots had what he required and had to refund him.Would be a brilliant place to read a book, as it's more boring than watching paint dry.

Never again will I come here for purchases, prescription or delivery collection. Waited 40 mins just to collect my parcel from Boots.. with only 2 ppl waiting for their prescriptions. I just needed to collect. Ehich litteraly takes 20 seconds.
