After my recent visit last Monday I would like to congratulate Charlie on his above average customer service. He spent a very ling time sorting out my problem, with a lot of patience.

Quite frankly I wish I didn't have to leave even one star simply to write this review but here we are. I have tried calling the pharmacy numerous times to discuss if my medication is in before I have to drive all the way there from work from another county but can NEVER EVER get through. Nobody answers the phone. The level of customer service is appalling. I appreciate at times they are busy but this is at 2:30pm and Google shows that they are less busy than normal right now. When I have brought this up to the staff there previously I was pretty much told I was lying that my call didn't get through because the phone didn't ring! Boots, hire people to actually do their job instead of congregating round the corner and counter of the pharmacy. I'm going to change my collection chemist with my GP as I have this every month.

Do not order gifts online during a special offer. On collection they claim to have sent it back, no refund given and cannot reorder. Absolutely disgraceful service. No goods and taken money. Told I will have to wait 2 weeks to get refund so not until after Christmas. The order stated it would be held for 7 days from agreed date however no date was agreed.

Do not get your prescriptions here unless you want to wait in a queue for 20 minutes, then get told "it's not ready yet" even though the prescription was sent over 3 hours ago, to then stand and wait another 30 minutes whilst everyone else that was waiting after me came and gone. The management of this branch have no idea, almost clueless, everyone rushing around with no real purpose. Avoid.

I had a really nice experience with a pharmacist called Denushi (apologies if spelt wrong). She was really reassuring, informative and kind! She seemed like someone who genuinely loved her job and helping people. Really nice to just of been able to go in and just speak about my health issues/test results, without prejudice or feeling like I was being rushed, as someone else was due in... like how it unfortunately is at the doctors most of the time. Nice to speak with someone knowledgeable, who could give me the time to go through the results I'd recieved, and what they meant.
Went in feeling really quite stressed and came out feeling much lighter. Thank you very much!! ??

There's usually a queue at the pharmacy desk and it can be chaotic at times, but I don't blame the staff who are clearly overworked (and probably underpaid). 5 out of 5 for effort, but I'm not going to rank the overall experience, because I don't feel that the in-store management have much control over staff levels.

horrible experience of being racially profiled by a security guard who followed, hovered and stared at me whilst i shopped making me extremely uncomfortable and causing me to leave without buying the items i needed. the guard was working at 14:00 on the 16th july 2024.

Very rude member of staff on the health counter. Was leaning on the counter chatting away to her mate, and when I required assistance to buy some cough medicine, she told me quite snappy and rudely that I had to queue in the prescription queue, and then proceeded to chat to her mate.
Absolute joke, I expected to be treated better when using the health counter.

The queues are ridiculous, they have never put anymore staff on to assist despite the size of the queue.
They have also now reduced the opening times.
It?s impossible to have a good experience.

I stood at the health help desk for a good 10 mins with all the staff around seven of them that saw me and not one of them said please stand at the pharmacy queue and ask for help!! There was one little sign on the other checkout!! But for all of them to see me standing there and walk past and not say anything is disgusting!! What has happened to people talking to one another and customer service. They clearly saw me and looked me in the eye but proceeded not to say anything!!

Sadly, it is a very slow service within this boots. Staff didn't seem very quick within this shop. I asked one member of staff where an item was, and they walked straight past me without saying anything. On a positive note, I managed to find the item in the end.
