Only one small problem was that we ordered steak frites, as rare as possible, and it came slightly overcooked. Not terrible, and not worth moaning about, but please pay à bit more attention to customer requests.

Only reason they get a 2 star is because of the optional service charge being automatically added to the bill. No mention of this prior to the bill being brought up and they have therefore done themselves out of my repeat custom

Came for breakfast and had ?The Plant Plate? which was: Scrambled OGGS®, vegan bacon & sausage, roasted plum tomatoes, mushrooms, fried potatoes, baked beans & toast. Served with spicy sriracha sauce.
The Oggs and bacon were a novelty but not that tasty (I left off the sriracha sauce, maybe it needs it on the food to hold up the meal!)
OH had a full English and a latte, said the coffee wasn?t great. I had a pot of tea. Whole meal was £42 which I feel we could have spent better elsewhere!

An over priced Weatherspoons experience without the convenience or service.
Went for an early dinner, had to wait a while for drinks to come then they did decided to hold a tray one handed with a coffee and hot chocolate over a 1 year olds head. We got the food but then have to wait before eating it because we hadn't been given cutlery. Children's Bolognese literally swimming in water in the bowl and my £14 chicken shawarma is one chicken breast sliced up with two pieces of bread and a wilted salad.
Genuine waste of money.

Very nice experience at Bill's for my 1st time. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. The food was really good as well. Ordered the 3 course lunch with fried calamari for the starter, the Bill's burger and fries for the main, and the salted chocolate tart for dessert. Would highly recommend for a nice lunch out and if you feel like treating yourself!

We visited as a large group from our basketball club. Thanks to Sam P for his excellent attentive service and managing the request of parents to have specific bills. Food was very good, although the Bourbon is not the expected sauce but an alcoholic glug / shot!

Located on Colchester High Street, Bill's is a great high Street staple.
Great for all, family or groups.
Menu has a full selection of popular dishes. A great £20 3 course meal deal.
Staff are friendly and professional, always willing to help.
I will return again.

The bruch was adequate. The fried eggs were solid but apart from that the rest was ok.
Staff were pleasant and the surroundings were quite nice (we sat outside and people watched)

We had a quick visit there, the atmosphere was very pleasant, I could stay for longer with a glass of vine (or two) also had a great steak, just the way we asked for.
