“I want to recommend the team at VR Car services for honesty and transparency. I had my car booked info some minor work and a MOT today. Firstly they advised that the minor work to replace the CV boot was not needed as they could find not split. Secondly they then advised that the engine light being on would automatically fail the MOT. I have now needed to tackle the engine fault with a dealer but I can recommend highly enough the honesty of the team here and once my issues have been resolved at the dealer I will be back to as this type of service goes a long way. “Recently, we had an issue with my son’s new bike after he had a little accident. We went back to Halfords Colchester. We have been seen by Omer. Very chatty, friendly and professional guy. He was really busy dealing with customers queries, helping customers with their purchases and dealing with drop off for repairs. Our bike took a bit longer to fix, as they ordered a new part. But I was happy with the service we received at an affordable price, repair was done as promoted. I am happy to go back to Omer if we ever have issues with my son’s bike again.”

Small shop/post office at the front as well as petrol pumps .”

“Unfortunately I recently had my catalytic converter stolen, the thevies made a terrible mess under my car, which ment I needed not only a new cat, but extra exhaust and new sensors.. Halfords were amazing as usual, kept informed throughout the repair prosses. It was quite an expensive repair, but my car is back on the road and with all the new parts and a diagnostic, I'm actually getting better miles to the gallon (48.5mpg and 43.1mpg before) I'd Especially like too thank - Charlie, Frank, Tom & James and the rest of the team. I've always been a bit dubious of the brand but thought, well it's only a car battery.Booked it on their app for "next day" fitting at this Auto Centre and received almost £20 off in discounts ?On arrival I had a polite welcome and within 2 minutes a lad was out to fit the battery. Took him barely 10 minutes start to finish and I was off ??”
