Was served by Darren. Searched the whole of Colchester and Clacton for engravings on wood, and it turns out this Timpson does Lazer engravings. Darren was very patient and informative with me. Allowed me to flick through what felt like 1000 different fonts to find which ones I preferred. 2 boxes engraved for £30 when I got quoted £175 in London. Promptly done.

£49 for a watch battery? Having a laugh, £10 for a link added? Rip off.... Go elsewhere if you've got any sense.... Update, to your reply, no I will not consider using you in the future until you drop your extortionate prices, went somewhere else and got both batteries done and link for £15, big difference

I was so moved by Scott giving one of my watches not under the lifetime guarantee to me free. I took two that were covered but the third was not. Whilst he was putting the batteries in we exchanged certain information on life, especially me. He was kind and listened to me. My husband is in a Home paralysed and blind in one eye with vascular dementia. It?s hard but Scott showed me a kindness I seem to receive very infrequently and when I went to pay for the third guarantee he told me to put my money away. I said he would get told off! But he explained there was a special system in place in certain cases and I was the lucky lady today. I have to say his action and words made me cry because there are so few people in our world that show compassion to another human. And this lifted me more than words can say. Thank you Scott you were cheerful polite and patient. A lovely man ??
