The staff is very nice, the rooms however were so hot, we didnt sleep at all. We stayed 2 nights (first and last night of our holiday due to the boat trip) and both nights were awefull. So hot!
There is a fan, that doesnt seem to do anything. There is a window, that opens a little bit, but doesnt let the hot air out.
It wasn't sunny on the day that we arrived, so it wasn't because of the weather. It really needs airco!

No air con, absolutely boiling. Had a fan in the room. Normally find premier beds comfy but these were like cardboard. Barley got more than 3hrs kip. Staff in reception provided quick service.

Dated and in much need of an upgrade. Clean though. But still disappointment.

Very average accomodation, tired and in need of update. Bed was comfy enough.
Bowling Green pub next door is unkept, understaffed and poor service.
Don?t set your expectations too high.
In fairness to the management, they have said they will look into it when I messaged them!

Fairly reasonable priced rooms and clean.
Friendly staff and restaurant right next door.
Near a garage and food drive food so plenty of options available locally.
Rooms: Rooms are clean and fresh
Nearby activities: Garage nearby with shop. Also drive through restaurant. Not far from the coast with plenty of family friendly attractions
Food & drinks: Restaurant right next door offering breakfast through to late meals

Stay here occasionally for work because it's location is very convenient.
But it's very overdue a refurb, both hotel and restaurant.

It is located at a service station but unfortunately nothing around other than the vast expanse of fields, which is lovely but difficult with kids.

Good place to stay. Just check lifts are working, for anyone with a disability.

Very handy hotel, next to a pub, and just a short drive into Clacton

Quick and easy and suited to our needs. Ten minutes drive from the seafront and a great location to travel out to see different places in the area as well as being in walking distance to catch buses to Clacton and Colchester.

The Bowling Green pub/ restaurant is a really great venue, which caters to large parties or if you're on your own.
Great menu and bar selection at very reasonable prices.
Really friendly and helpful staff, nothing too much trouble.
Large carpark and the Premier Inn is next door.

Actually, writing feedback for premier inn doesn't change anything as we may need Premier inn in near future for bookings if no availability on other hotels on public holidays, Even though, I wish to give feedback in short. The booking is easy, car parking is based on your luck if you reach earlier, same key entry system, a dust factory(in this location), if you are suffering from sinusitis or allergy then carry a portable vacuum cleaner with you. A receptionist at Porthmadog location said that the cleaners might remove the dust from a blanket that's you saw the dust everywhere. Book breakfast with them but don't book dinner table with them because if you are a minute delay then they won't serve you. Better go outside for dinner.
Rooms: Very dusty. The management needs to do something to get rid of dust from the room especially in AC rooms where there is no ventilation.
