I needed a couple of links added to the bracelet on the watch I had just bought. F Hinds quoted £50 with a turnaround of 4 weeks. J K Gems did it while I waited for a fiver. A wonderful shop which I hadn't previously noticed but which I will be visiting again. Nice, friendly, professional people who really do care about their customers.

I was recommended to go to J K Gems as i had a swollen finger and needed my wedding ring cut off. All 3 of the staff there made me feel welcome .I had my ring cut off by one of the male staff he was lovely and it was done in no time. He checked my ring and gave some advice as i want it made bigger. I felt there was no pressure or sales talk. What a lovely place and thank you

I never leave reviews, however I was incredibly disappointed when I visited. The lady in front of me spent several minutes browsing the jewellery with a lot of helpful assistance from the staff, and as it?s a small space, I waited my turn. When I pointed at the rings I liked, I was informed that they were wedding rings, which seems irrelevant if they?re what I wished to look at, and the member of staff walked away.I had really hoped to look through the selection of rings in particular and try them on with the intention of purchasing, having driven all the way to Clacton exclusively to visit, with the intention of purchasing at minimum one ring.I may be mistaken, but I felt that the service I received compared to the lady in front of me was due to my age and the way I was dressed.It felt as though I had been dismissed, having been told they were not appropriate for me to look through, and I left.I was sorely disappointed. When you?re looking to spend ~£500 on jewellery, the bare minimum required is the ability to look at what you?re hoping to purchase.

My husband has bought both my beautiful engagement ring and eternity ring from JK Gems. I love them - they?re vintage in style, very unique and fantastic value for money. Would definitely use JK Gems again for their friendly service and extensive knowledge of vintage and antique jewellery.

Wonderful staff can't do enough for you. Really wide range of items for sale.Can't say enough about them their prices are very reasonable and they are fair when buying gold from you as well which I have also done.
