Extremely poor shop never has anything in stock and won't let you collect larger items from store if you do decide to order something, I wanted a tv and a washing machine and couldn't get either in store delivery options are expensive

Collected an online order without problem. Typical Currys store albeit one of the smaller ones. This one is on a retail park outside Clacton-on-Sea with plenty of parking.

Only went to pick up a reservation, it was not busy but three staff on the till were all discussing the lady in front item and just left me standing there! After a while one of them asked to serve me but why leave me waiting? No need. Other than that the item was there and collected.

Went to view TV s . lots of empty gaps and most turned off . Maybe changeover day . In and outUpdate ....Wanted to view the TV,s in store in November . Most sets still turned off . Asked for help and was told someone would be down shortly . After 10 mins asked for help again . Same response . Waited ten minutes and left the store . Went back 2 weeks later . No change .a lot of sets turned off and no sales person available . Went to John Lewis in Ipswich . All sets turned on and waited 10 mins for a very helpful salesman and bought a OLED TV we liked for £200 less than the same set in currys . TURN YOUR TV,S ON . And tune them in properly . The picture on some of those that were on looked terrible .

Currys staff appear to have superficial product knowledge , but unable to relate it to practical use , and the ability to offer selection criteria .
