Lovely lady on the till but waited 20 plus mins for a prescription to be done. People walking in and out and I was sat there like a duck. Not quite sure they realise people have lives and places to be. Didn't seem to be any urgency about it at all. And no regard for the fact I waited so long. I don't usually come to this chemist and won't be returning. Usually I go to Holland pharmacy and I'm in and out within 3 minutes.

Rude staff, especially ?Bev?. Mistake with prescription, given medication that I?m not normally on (paid for!!) very blunt, very rude and as stated above, huge que and they chat about silly personal stuff, no sense of speed or efficiency to actually serve their bored and agitated customers. Don?t you have a duty of care?.?

Staff is very rude. We waited at the counter to ask if they had any lip balm as we couldn?t find any which was our first shocker. The staff looked over at us and then turned back around to continue having their conversation of which might I add we could hear and was not work place based. It was my first time going to this boots and it will certainly be my last. Extremely lazy, disrespectful and unbothered staff. Unprofessional to say the least. We left and went to Superdrug in clacton town as the staff in there are so much friendlier. Don?t waste your time or money at this boots!!!!! Needs new management by the seems of it as well as a new team of staff. Never in my life have I known THREE staff members to ignore a customer. Disgusting.

I would use the word useless, but that would be an understatement. 7 days (if you?re lucky) to fill a prescription only to be told, ?Can you come back after 3 tomorrow? I mean your Boots, supposedly one of the biggest companies in the UK. The staff are rude and seem more intent on discussing personal matters rather than serving customers. I also noticed how ex drug addicts get better attention, not sure how that works!

Woman with glasses and curly white hair so rude! Told me in a condescending voice that the doctors do not work at the pharmacy when all I said was that the doctors told me the prescription was ready!

Recently had to change to this pharmacy after Boots closed our local pharmacy on Old Road. Visited on a Saturday a week after the other pharmacy had closed. My wife had a text to say her prescription was ready for collection. Arrived to doors locked and a phone number in the window to call. On calling I was then told that there was no pharmacist available and the only way to get the prescription was for them to cancel the current issue (even though it was checked and sealed previously) and give me a copy of the prescription to take elsewhere. I'm not sure how, having merged 3 pharmacies in to
1, there was no pharmacist available. Worse still, the prescription issued said 'not a valid prescription' on the front and the only people who would fill it were other Boots pharmacies (who checked the prescription had been cancelled on their system). Luckily I was heading to Stanway in Colchester for something else and was able to use the Boots at Tollgate Retail Park instead. But for necessary medication it seems crazy that they couldn't get a pharmacist available even for part of the day.

Only been with them a fortnight and kept getting told to come back tomorrow 2days running, went back today 30-3-24 to be told there's no pharmacy so got handed hard copies to take to another chemist , not recommended, totally unprofessional, if there was a zero star available that's what I would have given them ?

Where time i have to ring them to see if my prescription is ready after doctors sends 1 week ago every time! They also have a phobia about answering their phone unfortunately rhey used to be great now deteriorated sad!

I signed up to receive texts when my prescription is ready for pick up. Yet I never receive texts & try to call but no one answered phoned. Frustrating because I than have to drive down there to find they have had it 2 days & it?s still no ready. Don?t offer a service if you?re not going to text people.
