We only went here for an aircon refill and anti bacteria treatment by default as the Colchester branch did not have a working machine despite taking bookings.We arrived and signed the car in and were told it would be around 90 minutes before it would be ready. We returned and were told the car was done. It was then they realised they hadn't done the antibacterial treatment. This it transpired was a small aerosol can sprayed into the vents! Surely, this would have been better to do BEFORE the recharge? We asked if this would get rid of that stale smell when 1st turning on or especially when turning off the aircon. We were told no, that's a different problem! What's the point then. It also stank of burnt hairspray at best. We had to drive homem some 45 minutes, with the windows open. This smell persisted for the next 2 weeks, the stagnant stale smell is still there, and to put a cap on it, we went into our glovebox yesterday for the 1st time since only to find EVERYTHING in there soaked in the spray! It ruined many items and soaked them in yellow stink and even ruined 2 usb sticks.I do not recommend this branch and hope the over 3.1 million lovely people who read my reviews pass on their thoughts to avoid them, too.

Great team of guys doing a great job.Have had numerous good visits for tyres, mots and general repairs now over a number of years. ATS offer good value, and the guys are honest with a summary of any works required. Just had this years MOT, another great visit, thank you.
