I placed an order over a week ago still hasn't arrived after calls with customer service I went into clacton store on Friday and spoke with the manager. He promised to call me back Saturday morning with a time for a delivery as he was going to personally sort it out for me even if he had to put it in his boot and delivery it and still nothing. I'm discussed with thos store as my money has even been taken from my bank account and no shopping it's not easy for me to keep getting there as I've got cancer and not well enough and no point with customer service as they don't help so will definitely not be using asda home delivery again as it's a terrible service

I love this store, the staff are friendly, and so helpful, in what l need in the store. I love the home wear and clothes. And the meat is very good too. I don't live in clacton, but when there l always make a bee line to asda, and take thing home with me, for my flat

Good shop there's a big speed humb in the car park is not a good thing it could damage cars suspension or bumpers I know is keeping the boy racing out just get barriers like Tesco

We are in harwich and our delivery comes from clacton and I can't rate them higher enough. From the ordering online to the very friendly, helpful delivery drivers are stress free, also the substitutes, which doesn't happen often are very sensible ones . Highly recommended.

Must say Asda Clacton was decent , three cubicals all had toilet roll.

I often get ASDA delivery but twice now I have had problems with the meat being delivered.
1st time, No steak in the order but they refunded me straight away.
Today, steak is BB TODAY and £9 worth of chicken breasts not in the delivery. They refused my online refund request due to " history of refund requests." BASICALLY THEY DONT TRUST ME AND THINK IM STEALING. So I phoned, got through to a human who asked me to send photos of short dated steak and then abruptly ended the call saying, she can do no more and it will go to payments. So now with £17 worth of meat waiting to be refunded, I have to change meal plans OR change my plans and squeeze in a visit to a supermarket to buy replacements.
If you don't want me to request a refund a)give me my food I've paid for
b) don't short date it.
As both times it's been the most expensive meat I'd check the staff if you're going to pass blame. Or check the pressure you put on them to pack orders.
I guess I now have to keep the driver waiting whilst I tick everything off my list, 1 by 1, and check dates of everything. Sorry Asda, I guess your driver will be late to his next delivery in future as I often get my monthly shop delivered, it's a hefty order OR I'll go somewhere else for my groceries.

We come to shop at Asda usually twice a week and always have a coffee and something to eat, but recently the café has been overtaken with special needs people, they take up most of the seating in the cafe and don't buy a thing from the café, they shout and scream most of the time and to be honest it's become so dreadful to try and sit there having to listen to all what's going on, whilst I feel for these people and feel very sorry for their situation, I don't see why I should have to sit there to see and listen to it, most ordinary people just get up and walk out like I did today, the noise is deafening, and they all sit there just shouting and screaming and one in particular just sits there and literally chokes himself, as I said there are about twenty of them taking up all the seating and not one of them buys anything from the café, we will not be going back there until this situation is sorted out, we go there for a quiet coffee and something to eat but it's become unbearable to sit there amongst these special needs people, I never complain about anything but this has just got out of control, the people who bring them in don't even try to control them, sorry but it's just out of order to have to sit amongst them.

This is my weekly store for shopping, however I may change my mind after this morning. Almost every other shelf empty, dirty or messy. So much not in stick, it is as though they have not had a delivery or clean for days.May have to change to Tesco
