Argos failed to deliver my order in the 7am to 2pm delivery slot. Had a live chat on their website and was offered a refund of the delivery charge and £5 credit as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience! They are trying again tomorrow between 7am and 10am. Fingers crossed.

Arrived to collect pre-paid item only to find store shut due to technical issue. Staff were all hiding out at the back and wouldn't acknowledge anyone standing outside. Staff very unhelpful.

Would like to say thank you to the store manager today. We took a watch back to ask if they could have a look at adjusting the metal strap. She said she will try and have a look but said that we may have to leave it there for them to have a look later during the week. She took our contact details and said that they will call us when the watch was ready to be collected later during the week. We left it with them and she took the time to have a look and she called us back about 45mins later to say that she had managed to adjust the strap. What great service and what a nice person. Fantastic customer service....thank you.

Good little Argos, but always best to order online in advance first then you can use the computer to get them to collect your order. It's usually better to go later in the evening as usually a little wait if you go any other time, especially at the weekend
