We recently dined at The Mogul and had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Having also tried Coriander next door, I can honestly say I prefer The Mogul?the service and ambiance were noticeably better.

We've been coming here for a few years now. Thier Indian cuisine is so flavoursome. Service was impeccable as per usual. Absolutely awesome. Definitely best in Ongar.

Just visited for the Tuesday special with a friend. Great atmosphere with friendly staff and quick service even though it was quite busy. Selected a starter each together with mains rice and 2 side dishes from the small set menu. I was expecting small portions with it being set price but was surprised at how large the portions were! Not only that but it was all piping hot and full of flavour.

Absolutely outstanding experience at The Mogul today. We opted for the Asian inspired roast to celebrate our works 19th anniversary. The creativity behind each dish was truly impressive, offering a unique twist on traditional roast flavours. The dishes were not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious.
The restaurant was perfect for our big group of 25, with ample seating and a bustling atmosphere that added to the overall dining experience. The staff were attentive and accommodating, ensuring that everyone in our group had a great time. Special shoutout to Johnny who always goes above and beyond for us, the cake was stunning!
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with a creative Asian-inspired twist. We will be back soon! Thank you once again for everything.
