We spent a whole day in Chelmsford going round with the original marriage certificate, changing my wife's surname in all the organisations and institutions we are members of including our mortgage provider TSB.Low and behold a few months later we realised after getting a letter with my wife's old name on it that they didn't change the name on the mortgage.When we queried this they said they had destroyed the evidence as it was past one month. But if we posted a copy in it would be okay. So we wasted more time and money posting another copy of the marriage certificate. Only to be told that wasn't sufficient and we need to come into branch again. So now we have to waste more time going into Chelmsford which is an hour drive from where we live just because TSB are pretty damn incompetent. Hopefully the branch manager sees this dross. Complaint has been raised.

I moved over from Ireland to start my nursing journey and the second day I moved over I was so homesick and didn?t want to be here, I went to other banks they all told me join online and I walked into TSB Chelmsford?s and I cousins have thanked the staff for being nothing but supportive and helpful and kind and also chatty and I was so welcomed and they helped me set up a bank account start away and ever since then I will always remember that day I walked in. I could recommend this bank to anyone they are beyond brilliant

Ignore opening times for a Saturday. No counter service means - it?s essentially just open as an atm. TSB are the worst ?high street? bank now. Congrats! Manager in branch is rude and now at all understanding. The guy who seems to be there a lot is could not be more helpful. Thank you

No service during the weekend whatsoever - Leaving most people absolutely no face to face assistance at all. One colleague is always helpful in store and friendly when it?s possible to speak to someone but not good enough for a major bank

Branch is closed on Saturdays.Friendly enough staff... but frustrating and drawn-out experience setting up a new account, with conflicting info on website, in branch and from staff.
