My bike got stolen and I went to the front desk to see the manager on the Saturday of September 20 of 2025 and they Sed the manager would be back on the Monday I went back there and the manager was not there they Sed I had to wait till Thursday I not wait another couple days as I have work in the week full time they did not help and no Communication or even showing any effort I hope this will be shut down as it absolutely horrible and my hotel door would not lock properly so I had to sleep feeling unsafe as they would not change the room and I had no way to go home and there window would not so if there was a fire there would be no way to get out

Location location is perfect for walking into the town center there are lots of locations close to the hotel. Greg?s, Costa Coffee, Sports Direct, Pure Gym. There is also a local brewery with Tap room and food trucks five minute walk.

I?m writing in this on behalf of my family who stayed here for 6 days after flying from Canada when we booked the rooms we were told that Wi-Fi was included and when they arrived, they were told that it was only 30 minutes free and had to pay for the rest. For a room of two people there was only one role of toilet paper. How is that expected to last for a week? They were also told to leave all recycling next to the bin on the floor in the room and it will be collected when housekeeping comes through, who wants to leave Rubbish on the floor that?s disgusting. Breakfast is also really poor with only a few selections of yoghurts and are most mornings absolutely no pastries or very dry pastries. And whoever runs the intercom for out of hour access needs retraining,I walked my friend back to the hotel after we had been drinking and I wanted to get her back safely to the room. She had unfortunately left her card inside the room, trying to stand there for almost 15 minutes explaining to the person who we were and why we needed to get in was a ball ache, especially at that time in the morning and especially for two young girls..

Window handle was broken, and because they want you to pay for WiFi they must have some sort of data blocker because mine and my 6 friends couldn?t load anything via data - yet our networks and data signals were fine. Walk a minute away and your phones data is restored.
Key card kept refusing to work and I had to come back from work at 4-6 am - however there was someone who came shortly to fix it. (The card was not near my phone or other device to demagnetise)
Such bad practice. Just to get more money out of people.

The staff were really fab, so friendly, helpful and approachable. I felt like nothing was going to be too much trouble for them. The airport bus dropped us off basically right outside and we were able to catch the bus back just outside the hotel. There is a B&M and Aldi just across the street and a vending machine for essential snacks/drinks. It's only about 10 mins walk to the centre of chelmsford and there are really regular buses if you don't fancy the walk.
The room was clean, bed comfortable and it was quiet. The room was very warm, but there was a small desk fan that did the trick cooling us down, so we had a pretty good night sleep. The usb ports didn't work and there was no hairdryer, which I felt was a bit odd - they were available at reception, so no big deal. The breakfast was fine, nothing special, but perfectly edible and the coffee was nice enough.
We stayed for Radio 2 in the Park and paid £210 for 1 night and 2 breakfasts. Obviously the prices were massively inflated for the, so for us, it wasn't great value for money.

This is my second stay. First stay was great. This stay not good. Such a disappointment ? rooms clearly hit and miss. The only room available was a family room. No air con, windows open and got woken up at 05:45 by really noisey goods van unloading. No extractor fan in bathroom, which smelled of bad drains. No glasses in bathroom. No hair dryer. No bedside cabinets. USB plugs didn't work by the bed. No phone in room either. Optional duvets left in a heap in the corner of the room which I thought was dirty laundry. On complaining was offered a room change and free breakfast. No fresh orange juice. No milk at breakfast apparently not delivered but hotel opposite major supermarket!!

This must be the hottest hotel in the UK. Was massively stuffy, no Aircon, staff told us off for opening the room door to let some air in
The windows open about 1cm, so good luck getting fresh air in. The worst night's sleep we've had, ever. Drenched in sweat. This hotel is really uncomfortable. Avoid.

This hotel is located right on what seems like the busiest roundabout in Chelsford. This means that if you're unlucky enough to be given one of the front rooms, you'll hear the sound of loud traffic constantly. The room always also very hot which made it difficult to sleep.
Avoid if possible.

Me and my husband came to this hotel for a family function locally and we left for our event 2 hours after arriving and came back around midnight but didn?t lift the blanket until 4:03am to find a stain on the bedsheet when we paid £90 for 1 day including the early check in and late check out

Spacious rooms, two power points near table, USB ports near bed. TV, mirror, cloth hanger water heater on table, coffee tea cream sugar sachets on table. Cupboard not available
WiFi need to be purchased on per day charge. Ok bar and caffetaria. Reception on first floor, has 2 lifts. Rooms have heater.
