One of the worst Tescos you could imagine which surely says something. Cramped, lack of choice any real food choices, rude staff, smelly and worst of all the staff actively encourage Dogs in the store.

Awful shop. Moody customers buying energy drinks and meal deals. Homeless man always sat by the entrance like a skinny gargoyle, Security guard smoking fags outside. Shop often runs out of eggs. The staff are good though, although one did try to upsell me a scratch card once (after I bought some oat milk; ?would you like a scratch card ?? ) - mental. But that?s Chelmo..

Its a little difficult to criticise the store as it's local, open long hours and generally stocked with what I want.The staff are always busy so the tills are rarely staffed with more than one person who if called away for a problem causes a large backlog of customers all eagerly awaiting to get on with their day.The self scan machines are DIRE.They frequently fail to recognise yellow labels and often ring up the full price of items that are discounted requiring a return to the back of a very long queue if you like to claim your "bargain"I have always found the security staff to be cheerful and even helpful to customers who have a problem finding items
