Very let down and shocked over the lack of care, communication and customer service.I Had a MOT pre booked in and when I arrived he explained he can?t fit me in. I stated I had a pre booked MOT to which he stated 2 of his workers had phoned in sick?.. he was aware I traveled from London and still couldn?t pick up the phone and call me in advance considering my appointment was in the afternoon.The man did not offer once to re book me in or and did not care over my frustration and shrugged his shoulder at me.This was a very reliable garage for many years for me but I will never go here again! Avoid this place

Needed a new wing mirror. Took the car in was quoted a price and 30 minutes later mirror was fitted and working. They also topped up my brake fluid as I was getting a warning. Owner is friendly doesn?t mess you aboutService: Body & Trim

The AA arranged for my Nissan juke to be taken to this garage following an engine management light coming on.I brought my car here on 29/08/2023 as arranged with the AA engineer and after numerous visits back and forth along with countless excuses they were unable to fix my car. I got a message on 21/09/2023 saying my car needs collecting, I was excited to collect it as it was quite far from my property only to find that the rude garage owner gave me the key back and said we haven?t fixed your car I?m sorry but we need to admit defeat. I was so upset as I had weeks of limbo.I called AA and arranged to take my car to my local garage and they fixed the problem within 35minutes.I definitely would not recommend this place and had I read the reviews I would have not agreed to take it there.I have no further comment!

Avoid! if this is the last garage on earth, you wouldn't really want to take your car to it. The garage is run by a horrific man who is unbelievably rude. I am sorry for myself to have had to take my car to them for a repair. These guys call themselves professional mechanics, but I wouldn't even trust them with a screwdriver. They didn't fix my car and charged me an arm and a leg for it. After 2 weeks of going back to the garage again, they behaved rudely to make me go away. I had to take my car to another garage to fix the part and the other parts that these guys had ruined! Read all of these reviews, they are here for a reason. DO NOT take your car to this garage ever!Service: Exhaust

Absolute gangsters. I booked my car in specifically for a slave cylinder repair. Was quoted total price. I checked this was the total price and explained my partner would leave the car in. When he arrived he said, in passing that there was something wrong with the clutch, was charged an upfront diagnostic charge, i was told the clutch needed replacing at £660+ and nobody had looked at the slave cylinder at all. Company refusing to refund this diagnostic charge or speak to me on the phone. Totally unreliable crooks. Wouldn?t trust them with a bin bag, let alone my car.

I?ve used roadstar for numerous years for MOT?s, fleet taxi vehicles and personal use. Always found them to be helpful and get the job done in time at reasonable rates.

Such helpful mechanics today when our car bonnet wouldn?t close properly. Really took the time to ensure it was sorted out and as good as they would like it to be in their car, not just ?okay?. Went for Service & MOT. Spent a fortune on repairs and lots of miscommunication. Previously had bad experiences with boyfriends car as well as he had his stuck there for 3 days without being told what was going on with it whatsoever. Wouldn?t take the car here again.

Terrible place. Did a bodge job on my car and tried conning me by half arseing a mechanical repair on a door part. They charged for a new bit but just broke the old bit more. Hence why I won't ever touch or recommend these cowboys again after last using them a few years back

Can't fault this garage. Recently needed a new starter motor, contacted them on the Friday and it was fixed by Saturday morning. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Really bad experience. The owner (John) was ill tempered, abrupt and seemed to take pleasure in sharing bad news to another customer that his car was beyond repair. John also was really rude and condescending to an elderly customer being served in front of me. Totally unnecessary.The other junior mechanics were a lot nicer. They had my car in their garage for over 10 days and couldn't resolve it which Kwik Fit fixed in 1 hour. Makes me wonder, did they even try? In those 10 days, I received zero calls, and when I called myself on day 10, was told, 'come collect you car, we can't fix it'

I am completely let down arranged over the phone when in I arrived at agreed time and was told no the appointment was an hour before even though I confirmed and wrote it down I had to drive around today for an mot. When arrived on agreed time, the owner told me there was a mistake with his office and he can't do anything about it because he is fully booked. Did not seem to care with a smirk on his face. absolutely disappointed do not recommend this company at all.
