Lovely hotel, basic, but it is a Premier Inn, it is however lovely and clean. We were greeted well when we checked in, staff lovely and friendly, and went out of their way for us to have a meal in the evening one night, the only thing against is the all you can eat breakfast, it's not a buffet breakfast, you have to order it at the table, so if you are a hungry Horace I'm not sure how that would work when it's busy, having to order breakfast each time, it must however cut down on waste, I will say though breakfast was very good, we also tried the restaurant in the evenings, very nice quality. Very good parking at 5 pound per day, close to Large Sainsburys and a couple of snack eateries. Would we stay in this one again? 200 per cent, premier inn your staff do you credit.

Getting charged to park your car at hotel is a bit outrageousRooms: Normal premier inn rooms but was in a cold room as heating was on a setting that you could not change

Very tired, like most of the PI estate. More and more hidden charges less inward investment.

Located on an industrial site off a complicated roundabout. The hotel has ample but chargeable car park. Nice and clean and in house restaurant with very good value breakfast. Kept awake by what sounded like furniture being moved for over an hour, when asked next day staff knew nothing about it.Rooms: Very clean and comfortable

Will return again in the near future.. Well done to the team who look after this place.Rooms: Spotless, just in need of some TLC especially in the bathroom of the One we stayed at. Great size.Food & drinks: To food was perfect. Mixed Grill and Steak, cooked perfectly. Breakfast was perfect too.

Average hotel. Bed was super comfy if a little bit to high for less mobile people to get into, as is usual with premier inn hotels. When I arrived the sink had not been cleaned properly and there was a streak of toothpaste around the rim. I mentioned it to reception before going out for the evening and they had cleaned it before I got back. Also, they don't clean your room every day anymore unless you ask. This was stated on the confirmation email but given the time that elapsed between receiving that and the date of my stay, I had forgotten reading this. I also wasn't told about it when checking in. You would think they would charge less per night if they are not cleaning your room, surely it saves them money in equipment and staff wages, but the prices are still what you would expect for a Premier inn. You also have to tell them every day by 12pm. You would think you could just say when you check in, "Please clean my room every day" but no if you want it done every day, then you need to tell them every day.The breakfast was good and tasty although some days the bacon was overcooked (I like a crispy bit of bacon, but the one day it was like eating crispy rubber). Also, some days the food came out hotter than others. The vegan sausages, beans (in their own dish) and thr hash browns always came out hot and retained their heat, but the bacon and eggs were hit and miss with their heat levels. This is surprising simce they cook the hot food fresh to order, Although it is an unlimited breakfast, you have to tell your server how many of each item you want and then they cook it fresh. I presume you could ask for more afterwards if you're still hungry but then tou would have to wait another 20 minutes or so for that to be cooked, which is not helpful if you need to be somewhere by a certai time. What happened to the buffet, that was actually unlimited? They were very good with allergies/intolerances though. I asked for gluten free so they showed me what food I could eat in the book before I made my choices. I thought that would be it, but they also put fresh cutlery on the table (at both seats even though I was eating alone) just in case anyone had touched the cutlery while it had been out on the table.Easily accesible location right next to A12 although the acess roads in and out could do with having their massive potholes filled in. There is a Starbucks, McDonald's, KFC and Sainsburys supermarket all within walking distance.Despite all these negatives, all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and sorted out anything you asked for promptly. There was one guy at breakfast who seemed like he didn't want to be there (he did have to be called out from the back somewhere and it was 7am but the sign said restaurant closed even though they are officially open at that time and I had told reception the night before that I would be eating at that time. So I guess he wasn't too happy about working that early in the morning and maybe had a bad night's sleep. The same guy was on duty the next day when I ate later in the morning and seemed happier and friendlier then although still not quite as friendly as all the other staff I dealt with. For a cheap place to stay for a couple of nights, it is fine, especially if you won't be in your room much. But just expect to get what you pay for, unless you're expecting room cleaning, then you won't get thay without asking even though you are paying for it.

Looking a bit tired. Staff great. Location just off a small services/truck stop, so a busy spot.

I had no issues at all . Nothing wrong with the hotel. I could recommend some improvements but wouldn't want to be rude as it was such good value. Decent bed, hot water, clean and had a window which was a bonus. Good location for access to main roads but personally don't like road noise/pollution (only noticed outside). Can't wait for all vehicles to be electric... Anyway secure car park. Easy check in/out. Tasty food. Would stay again for businessNoteworthy details: Good bed

Well don't know what people want I use premier inn every week with work this is by far the best ive been in. From a very happy greeting to even better when at bar. Brooke was so friendly always smiling and very helpful premier should be proud to have someone like this working for them. The other staff just as fantastic she just stood out this should be how all premier inns are 5 star

All the rooms at the back of the hotel are next to a busy road. I was woken up at 4.30am by the first HGV driving past. The Duty Manager in the morning offered no solution apart from saying 'you should of asked for a room at the front'. Please note you have to pay an additional £5 to park in the hotel car park. I will not be going back to this Premier Inn.

Arrived 17 minutes early told couldn't book in till 3pm. You now have to pay parking fee even if you have a blue badge. My partner and I were getting intimate and in walks the cleaner. We paid £89 to stay the night. But after that we left. We have stayed in this hotel loads of times. Its definitely gone done hill.

Service from the staff was helpful and friendly, and food in the restaurant was very nice as well as breakfast ??.It nice to use the premier Inn restaurant rather than look for one near by.
