Unhelpful and couldn't be bothered to help...
All I wanted was a print out of my lady three months statements as I keep having problems with my online banking. The young chap behind the counter services just couldn't be bothered. It was as if I was asking him to unlock the vault to the bank of England. I got 5 minutes of strop teenager syndrome... oh can't you just download it yourself? It won't be the same if I print it. Can't I just print the first page? Oh it will print on both sides. I hate to think if I actually had a real problem...I wouldn't mind but they only work half days and their 'machines' and online systems never work properly.

Called the bank and been told I could open a joint account in the branch. Went to the branch and was told that I can only open an account online!! Very poor service for a bank that has a street branch!! I am very disappointed with this bank. Made two people lose a lot of time for nothing. By the way, after a long process online, a month is gone and the joint account doesn?t come up and I don?t even get an email back about it. They cut on staff and services for the sake of profit forgetting that the service is why they exist for in the first place!

This is a very open environment with separate areas for more private conversations, que times have never been a problem & generally their is a member of staff floating around to help guide you to the right area

The counter service at Chelmsford is not available to personal customers on a Saturday. There are two websites accessible from the internet, one says this but the other does not. Waste of a couple of hours this morning.

We moved to UK in 2018 and was looking to open the bank account. After a few considerations and we took a chance and went with Natwest. The bank assigned us to Ms Ceri Lewis to help facilitated us. We managed to get the bank accounts opened very quickly onced we arrived UK via the appointment made before we arrived.We were looking for the simple bank account, just debit and credit card, minimum fee. Ceri was very nice and proposed us the products to fit our needs.Natwest really meet and exceed our expectations. With the free accounts you already have all the services, no fee at all except when you use the debit card aboard which it clearly informed. The transactions using web is fantastic, there also the BOT to help with all the issues. I found them very useful and they transferred us to the real agent quickly when needed.5 stars!
