Went to Morrisons today with my wife, who is 39 weeks pregnant. While the store itself was great, the experience at the pharmacy was extremely disappointing.
The pharmacist refused to sell my wife 75mg Aspirin ? a medication she has been advised to take daily throughout her pregnancy by her GP. Despite clearly explaining this, the pharmacist would not allow the sale and instead insisted my wife call her midwife immediately to request a prescription. This was not only unnecessary but completely unreasonable. She has been taking this medication for nearly nine months and only needed a few more days' supply.
What?s worse, the suggestion seemed more about trying to obtain a prescription in order to benefit from the dispensing rather than prioritising patient care. Turning away a heavily pregnant woman from such a basic and widely used over-the-counter medication is unacceptable and frankly disgraceful.
We had to make a detour to another pharmacy, which completely defeated the purpose of doing a quick shop and picking up the medication. After this experience, we won?t be using this pharmacy again. Hugely let down by the lack of basic compassion and common sense.

Went in for medication. No one else in the pharmacy. Pharmacist walks over to me with my medication IN HIS HAND, but tells me it?s going to take over 30 minutes to fill? I understand having other orders for delivery ect. But to state half an hour for a medication you?re holding is disgusting.

I don't think many of us realise all the work put in at the pharmacy at Morrisons. staff very polite and they certainly do their up most best to serve the community ..thank you especially Marie xx

If you like the following then I would go out your way and spend a day here:
Rude staff
Stressed out staff
Completely unorganised
You are told to get your shopping or wait for 30 minutes as they are too busy then your name is called after 6 minutes ( deterrent to by them time )
Be told the main practitioner is on a 30 lunch break at 5 30pm
Repeat your name 3 times.
If this is your cup of tea roll on up you'll love it !!!

I have always had nothing but an outstanding service from this pharmacy, they are always extremely helpful and manage to get my medication when it is out of stock everywhere else. Pharmacies are extremely overwhelmed these days as people rely on them instead of the doctors.
I would also point out that the review regarding antibiotics for a dental infection, the doctor will NOT treat or give medication for dental infections nor is it possible to have antibiotics under the Pharmacy First scheme for minor ailments so this reviewer should check h their facts!! Also resorting to personal attacks on pharmacists just shows ignorance and how ill informed this reviewer is, I am fed up with pharmacist bashing as they are expected to do not only their job but now the doctors job, you wouldn?t walk into the doctors surgery and interrupt the doctor mid consultation so why expect the pharmacist to do the same

I highly recommend this excellent pharmacy and pharmacist. They are polite, professional, knowledgeable and provide advanced advice.
My medication is always ready on time and I get short messages to collect my medications.

Terrible Pharmacy,changed to another last year but due to Boots closing that one have had to go back to morrisons. They have trouble with obtaining medications at times, my wife is currently waiting for a prescription it has been 2 weeks now.

Can Morrisons employ staff that know what they are doing. Claim they have the full prescription and 10 minutes later only have a third of it and they would not give the original back only a copy which states THIS IS NOT A PRESCRIPTION......

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Charles and the team at this pharmacy.My dad has been in and out of hospital since November, and Charles has been absolutely fantastic, my dads prescription is forever changing, but nothing has been too much trouble for Charles, he suggested putting my dads medication into blister packs, as my dad was really struggling with taking his meds, this was the best thing for him, and we are truly grateful.Charles always recognises me, and always has a smile and is very caring. Thank you for your care and attention, it has meant so much, whilst caring for my dad.The whole team have been great and we can not thank them enough.

The pharmacy said it was open online and my GP sent an emergency prescription there - and when I got there it was closed. Which meant I had to wait for another 24 hours to get a call back from the GP and suffered acute pain in the process.

Saturday opening time "updated by business 3 days ago" as 8 am but no lights on, shutters down. No signage visible. No-one around to give further information. I tried to check by phone on Friday, but no answer and no automatic answering service either.My surgery automatically sends my prescription here but I have previously been given dangerous and wrong information about my medication by the pharmacists. My complaint on the phone was received with a promise of a manager call the next day but I am still waiting.
