They no longer do their own dry cleaning and now out source their services. (Takes a week) Its a shame, I prefer to support local.
I'll go back to the dry cleaners near the station next time.

Went in to use the tumble dryer only, on 2 insulation jackets that required tumble drying on low after washing with specialised insulation jacket detergent. I got cash and change at the Coop next door. All in all successful and happy with the facility. The only problem I had was having to use the massive dryer for only 2 items.

TOTAL SCAM !!!!!! ??I usually write the reviews if the services are really good or really bad.I usually go to a different Laundrette but decided to try this one today to dry my clothes.Dryers are completely useless. I usually would spend 2 or 3 pounds for one full load, however I eneded up paying 12 pounds for two full loads which is double the price I usually spent.Even with high temperature setting and after 6 cycles the clothes were barely warm and most of them were damp / wet. At other place I will burn my hands while taking out the clothes after 3 cycles.I read the reviews here and realised that other people have similar complains so it is not the machine as I was using two different machines. Hence nothing to fix.Somehow they have managed to lower the temperature of the machine which means they have less consumption on electricity usage and customer ends up paying more.Rip off?.will never return. Going back home to dry and iron at the same time.

Janet does my alterations, always very good, and really useful as very local . I?ve had no bad experiences here at all. Quite the opposite.Used the washing machines & driers when my washing machine gave up, washed and dried my clothes with ease.

Been going here for years-it was 2 minutes to 3pm on saturday and a very rude woman behind the counter said not excepting anymore dry cleaning,i said there's 2 minutes to go before you are shut,she replied take it somewhere else-to be honest there dry cleaning has gone down hill aswell so will not be returning?

Tried to collect some curtains. Apparently collecting is only until 3pm?! Apparently it ?says it on the door.? What a joke. I only pay full price after 3pm, so there?s an impasse there. A complete wasted journey bearing in mind I checked OPENING TIMES prior to attending. Lucky we?re not approaching a cold snap?oh wait.

The dryers are an absolute joke... I paid £5 for 30mins and the drum at the end was slightly warm(think tepid tea) and items were NOT dry... Total rip off... Used to be very good for drying where you virtually burnt yourself on the drum taking items out whereas now i don't think the drum would melt an ice cube!! If you want to dry your clothes go elsewhere

After using this dry cleaners for years it came as a massive surprise when an item of clothing had been damaged whilst in their care and then what unfolded thereafter.- they put a pin through a silk scarf to identify it, this then 'laddered' the entire scarf.- they attempted to fix the item with some kind of mesh which unfortunately didn't work.- the item is out of stock as it was a collaboration and that means authentic items are being sold at higher than the retail cost.- they offered to replace the item but wanted to source the item themselves and found one via a website called Vinted. They couldn't authenticate that as real and were allusive with the proof of purchase.- the manager of the shop (Janet) and the owner (Nigel) were rude, abrupt and generally difficult to deal with.Ultimately I've had to take back the original item in it's damaged state and will be seeking damages via the small claims court.I've never been subject to this kind of customer service when it was clearly an issue on their part.DO NOT USE!

Used to go there quite often, but today I went to dry only 4 towels. After 28 minutes on high temp the towels were still wet and told the lady that it seems to be a problem, as last week I dried more that than in 20 min. She was not willing to even check if it was a problem and insisted that it?s normal. It was not the first time I used their driers and I never had this problem. I can even understand that faults can happen.I do t see a reason why the lady working there should be rude and dismissive. I wasted half an hour and my money only to go home with the towels still wet
