Food was really good, both the fillet & sirloin were cooked perfect.
Service was incredibly slow, drinks ordered quick but took a long time to come (table next to us ordered drinks after us & got them before, different server), food was served promptly but then once finished our mains sat there with the empty plates in front of us for 10 minutes,
Didn?t bother waiting for dessert & asked for the bill, paid & left
Think we got unfortunate with our waitress as every other time we have been it?s always good.

Great pub. We arrived without a booking but were seated quickly. The host and waitress were both excellent. The food arrived quickly and was very high quality, as I would expect from a Miller & Carter. Highly recommend. One thing to note, the car park is off to the left as you drive in, don't go in to the Fox and Raven car park, the entrance to which comes up first on the right.

Lovely Birthday meal out at Miller and Carter Chelmsford. Really enjoyed the chicken chipotle starter followed by a great rib eye steak. Was well looked after during our visit by our server Will.

Impromptu night out with the family. We didn?t have a booking but we were welcomed with a cheery smile. Our server Will was excellent and very attentive. We had starters and main courses. Two of us had a burger, tasted amazing. One had steak and it was cooked to perfection. Lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
