Really popular place and in the main good quality food. Has manned tills and self service tills. Probably more expensive than other food shops but good quality. It also has a cafe which seems popular. Three hours ? parking. I like the bread ? especially the baguettes also sparks card is quite good as sometimes they give free items.

Our first visit. A very clean, well laid out, spacious store. Plenty of choice and the quality we've come to expect from M+S. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. Plenty of free parking, right outside

Coffee in here is rubbish. Very weak and lukewarm couldn?t taste it and out of a machine. Sorry M&S you need to try a lot harder.

Staff are so unhelpful, left my flowers behind by mistake on the shelf scan till. Tried to call the store 15 times if not more never answered. Went back the next day was rude and said that's what they all say! I didn't keep my receipt. Didn't realise i didn't have the lilies until i got home.

They ave taken away customer service desk, why? I returned an item today 4 people wanting to return items , return bin was full so people standing around holding items ( boxes and bags) once processed with no where to put them. Eventually help came

Just got back from my weekly shop - the staff were so friendly and I particularly want to draw attention to the younger woman I believe was called Esther, nothing was too difficult and I will definitely be back!

I have had not only one but two incredibly uncomfortable and aggressive experiences whilst shopping at M&S Westway at hands of one of their managers. My partner was shopping in the store earlier this month and the self checkouts were all closed, so he paid for his shopping at a staffed check out and on his way out of the store he was rudely approached by the female staff member who aggressively poked him on the back, she then proceeded to ask him what was in his shopping bags?which he obviously replied ?shopping?. She then asked him if he had paid and he said ?yes? and she then told him that she didn?t believe him because she didn?t see him at the check out. She then started pulling out food items and condescendingly asking him ?what?s this then? What?s this then?? and accusing him of stealing. He didn?t have a receipt because he didn?t request one as we are all doing our bit to create less waste. She then decided to just walk off and not apologise or not explain her actions. I made a complaint to M&S and they gave me a £50 voucher for him being harassed and wrongfully accused of stealing without any justification.So, tonight we go back into the store after being promised that the woman had been dealt with and retrained on her conduct in the store and this was evidently a lie. When we entered the store she was on shift and she gave us both a death stare when we entered the store, she then quickly closed all the self checkouts (so we couldn?t pay using them), she then made a phone call and warned staff that we were in the store and then herself and other members of staff proceeded to follow us around the store like we were criminals and were going to steal something.Myself and my partner are both teachers and have to have our background checked as part of our job so we have proof of our squeaky clean histories. We both feel that we have been judged because of the way we look and they assumed that we are the type that would steal because we are not their typical clientele. That is how it felt to us. They had no reason to believe we would steal and we have been using that store for numerous years due to it being our nearest shop. I don?t ever want to step foot in that store again as long as that woman is still working there, the way she made us feel was awful and I really don?t wish that upon anybody. I have made another complaint and am interested to see what the outcome is this time, but i have lost all confidence in M&S because this is the second time I am having to deal with the same member of staff. I thought they would have valued their customers more.

Some focus on customer care required here. Staff so paranoid of shoplifters they are making local innocent customers feel like criminals. Being stared at and having all the self service check outs closed on you when you walk in is not a nice feeling. And then being followed around the store while you shop is bordering harassment.

My Partner bought me an Orchid in a tall glass jar for Valentine?s. It looked great when we bought it but within a few days the bits started falling off and the leaves started looking unhealthy. I took it out of the glass jar and all the aerial roots were completely buried in wood chips and we?re starting to rot. It wasn?t hugely expensive at £16 but the way it was repotted is guaranteed to kill an orchid! I?m very disappointed with M&S to be giving wrong care advice on the plant.

Food hall good, staff helpful. Why so much veg and fruit in plastic ? Also the Olive sourdough loaf at fresh bakery that I love has reduced drastically in size and costs more!
