From the very outset of our dealings with the Helping Hands the team was kind and considerate. We were confident that our brother had carers we could rely on to treat him with kindness and respect. We made many phone calls to the office to ask for changes to his care package and to advise of his needs and our concerns. Every time his needs were addressed and this put our minds at rest, which was so important as we live so far away from our brother. Over a period of nearly two years we got to know the staff at the office. They were completely familiar with our brother's situation, which made it so much easier for us, during what was a very stressful time. We know that in the last few years, our brother's life was made better by the care he received from the carers at helping Hands. He became very fond of them. Thank you Helping Hands.

I have been working at helping Hands for over 2 and half years and it is the best place i have ever worked. The staff in the office are amazing and are always just a phone call away if you need any help. You get great training and are always offered more so you can improve on your skills. Working for helping hands has been a great achievement for me and I am really happy to be a part of our team.

I worked for Helping Hands for just shy of 4 years, from start to finish I can?t say anything but positive things about the company. The office is incredibly supportive and are there to help whenever and wherever you need it. The training and guidance you receive is second to none and the care they provide truly goes above and beyond. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the Chelmsford branch! The girls in the office are professional and go above and beyond for the service users and employers.I didn?t have a good start as I had a car accident not long after I started working here, but I have received so much support and care from the office this really made a difference and I couldn?t wait to get back. If anyone is looking to work in care join the Chelmsford branch such a friendly, caring bunch !!

Do not apply for a job for this horrible company. You will regret your whole life!!!!!!!!!! They invite you to go to England, a lot of paperwork, you paying for all your costs without no garantee that you have a job, no contract whatsoever. I experienced the horror this company can provide.

Chelmsford Hourly BranchThe communication is like any other care company, a bit poor but i have to say the women in branch do there very best to help and support you, as they get a lot of calls during the day it can lead to knock on effects, so i would suggest to anyone to be as quick as you can on the phone and free up the line for actual emergencies, the rota's are usually sent in good time and you will be getting a lot of emails regarding rota's as they are changed regularly - remember those knock on effects?.I do have to say that Helping Hands do allocate travel time between customers which is usually the correct amount of time but it can be used up quickly if there is a lot of traffic, it is just something that is out of our control. I have seen some rota's from other hourly care companies and they either have no allocated travel time or you have to be in two places at once. All in all, Helping Hands is a great company to work for, they support you the best they can, always open to your ideas, the pay is good for both sides of main care (speaking from experience).Thank you for your time for reading this, have a lovely day.ProsTravel expenses paid by Company / Consider anyone. for employmentConsCommunication has room for improvement.

The best company I have worked for and I've worked in care for twentyseven years plus. The office staff are very supportive as is the branch manager June Hillyard . Nothing is to much for her. Her door is always open. She will help in anyway she can whatever the problem she is not scared to get her hands dirty and muck in. Which is very rare in this profession. As I say a great team and company. I'm proud to work for them.
