I have been using Goldsmith Webb opticians in Chelmsford for three years having been a customer of a well known high street optician for over 30 years.The customer service at Goldsmith Webb is superb. I have always been seen on time and have received excellent care throughout.I cannot praise Luke enough for the thoroughness of his eye examinations and his attention to detail in getting the best prescription for your eyes.The quality and range of frames and lenses on offer is excellent, whilst the service and advice from Stuart in finding the right frames and lenses has been first class.He has just provided me with some Rodenstock biometric lenses. These are not cheap - and Rodenstock make some bold claims with their marketing - but I have to say that my vision with them is better than anything I have previously experienced - especially when driving at night.I have also found the assistance provided by Helen and Tricia to be very helpful.Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Goldsmith & Webb as a very good optician.

Highly recommend Goldsmith Webb opticians In Chelmsford.Nina the optometrist done a thorough eye exam with me and Tony who sold me the glasses was very patient with me while I tried on lots of different glasses.I collected my glasses today with Stuart who made sure that they fitted me properly which I have strangely never had before at any other opticians! Everyone was so great and professional!

Have used this optician for both my daughters. Good professional service. Found them thorough in checking and not rushing. They even followed up next day to check infection gone and eye is healing properly.

Another superb visit to these guys! Still to this day haven?t had such a thorough eye exam. Made to feel at ease throughout and not rushed at all.My visit was to enable me to start wearing contact lenses and the tutorial I had and the attention to detail was just the best.I?ve not been able to buy the sun glasses I wanted for years but since ordering my contacts with these guys I also walked out today with a brand new pair of sunnies that wouldn?t look out of place on Love Island.Thanks again to everyone there you all do an amazing job.

I have been going to Goldsmith Webb ever since I started needing glasses over 15 years ago. Always have a fantastic experience with Luke for my eye tests and Stuart and the team are always incredibly helpful when trying to choose new specs. 100% recommend visiting them for a stress free experience. As well as glasses I have gotten prescription sun glasses, swimming goggles, diving masks and the team are always happy to help find other things as needed.

I have been a customer with the Chelmsford branch for many years and cannot praise the staff highly enough for , not only their professionalism, but also their amazing customer care and experience. I recently attended for my annual checkup and was particularly impressed with the procedures that had been put in place for the COVID measures. The staff are always friendly and Stuart has always helped me choose glasses that suit my requirements and ensures that I am always 100% satisfied with my choice. My husband and children also attend regularly for eye tests and the staff are very adaptable to be able to dealing with little people!I thoroughly recommend Goldsmith Webb Opticians for all your eye care needs.

I have had both eye examination and OCT scan done at Goldsmith Webb and they did a marvelous job with patience and care. They staff was very polite and respectful and the optician was really thorough with the whole eye examination process. I have also picked my frames with lenses there with excellent quality, however the frame and lenses were a bit expensive. Thanks again for the care and the great experience.

I've used Goldsmith Webb (formerly Harrison & Stanley) for over 25-years. 12 years ago I moved to Hertfordshire, yet remain with Goldsmith Webb's Chelmsford Opticians. The reason I've stayed a customer, simple, it's due to their superb service, fantastic customer care, quality and range of spectacles and crucially the experience and technical competence of their optometrists and dispensing opticians.My eyesight is precious, so i'm not about to trust it to one of those high street 'rush you through' national chains you see advertising on TV!!Goldsmith Webb I thoroughly recommend.
