“Great store. Loads of Christmas gifts.. specifically went along to buy a pannetone and was not disappointed. Big selection of all types from traditional to flavoured.. managed to get one that when I goggled it was about £25 and was sold for £12.99. Only thing missing was the bow around the box and to be honest I think it looks better without. It’s well worth popping in and seeing what they have , you might be surprised !!”

“Improvement on last year but still think they missed out when Debenhams closed. Chelmsford needs more great stores, with staff available to order merchandise not stocked in Chelmsford. Reduce the bra and pants section and get more fashion in store please.”

“One of most best, I feel glad we have a High Street in Chelmsford that hasn't closed & literally moved irresponsibly like the one in Colchester. But I felt surprised over some things moving about like the makeup area though it shouldn't be really a big problem ? though obviously unpractical bathroom's like a usual M&Ss”

“This store is actually offering more than thinking but not too much of it. There is even a genius idea: that was us managing to get self checkout exactly in the ordinary checkout area so you would not really need patience if a cashier ain't ready in time.”

“The staff, when you can find them, there are not many, are lovely patient and extremely helpful. However, they all have issues with the internet system that Next have, it works, and then it won't work. I love their home and clothing lines, but it's time they changed their technology, and allow for the fact that many, many people like to get out and walk around stores in person,and do not want to buy on line. Everything they do is good value for money. I wish popular stores would realise how important it is for people to get out and about and have face to face contact with humans.”

“Great service as always at Next!!I had an issue with a Christmas present. l had bought for my son a pair of slippers. Sadly, they came up small. There was no issue exchanging them. He had to choose a different style as there wasn't any in store, but that wasn't an issue at all.The majority of my Christmas gifts for family came from Next. I normally buy instore, but because both of my parents were both in hospital. I found it easier to order online, as hospital visits were so tiring.Fantastic service?Thanks, Next!”

“Good size shop and a lot of choice for home, clothing or accessories. 4 stars as none of the toilets have been working on a busy weekend and staff refused to allow to use disable one.
Few paid parkings around or you can use Tesco (3h free if you spend £5 in store)”
