Convenient for coffee if travelling via the railway station or walking nearby. In addition to the main entrance, has a booth window for service after passing through the ticket gates.

So this is a costa pronto, it is quick as the name suggests. They only serve you in takeaway cups and the food has a more limited selection than other costas.
I asked for soya hot chocolate with cream. Without asking they gave me soya hot chocolate with vegan whip. I hate the vegan whip, I had to remove it then go back in for a tissue. I suggested to the staff that they dont always assume an order for a dairy alternative wants vegan whip, they should ask. I like the taste of soya or oat milk in hot chocolate, I want normal cream though. Very unhappy.
Dietary restrictions: If you ask for a milk alternative they will assume you also want yucky vegan whip without asking.

A convenient, but overpriced facility. The food is acceptable, but quite dear, and the place is often understaffed and lacks cleanliness, which makes sense as it is a busy, fast-serving location for commuters coming on/off trains. Not a great spot to relax or hang out, but it gets the job done if you are a big fan of Costa's drinks/food
Vegetarian options: A few, but mostly cakes/coffees, no brunch items

The Manager there is nothing short of fantastic, and he clearly drives his work and customer satisfaction ethos with the rest of the staff. Always enjoy picking up my coffee there - he gets it bang on everytime.

Love love love this Costa. The customer service is excellent. Every time I go to get my De-cafe Latte I am greeted with a warm smile and a hello. The ladies are wonderful and genuinely like their job and the customers. Well done Costa for employing such a lovely bunch of people who make my day when I?m getting my coffee.The Manager here really needs to show the other Costa?s in Chelmsford how it?s done.

Who doesn't like coffee? The hot chocolates are also very pleasing. No queue management due to a sign being the wrong way round and staff getting frustrated about this let the experience down mind.

This is a super efficient Costa team. They are always so busy, but have devised an amazing system whereby the coffees get out so quickly and taste really good. The manager is incredible, excellent customer service and an insane ability to remember faces / your orders!
