Staff is terrible, rude and lazy. A brunette older woman taking the measurements for the shoes and also a girl Natalie J that was at the till, both completely unprofessional and rude. The old brunette woman was annoyed when I asked for different sizes, too lazy to look for another size at the customer?s request. After complaining around with me being able to hear everything, she then said she doesn?t have different size which I think it was a complete lie. The girl at the till, Natalie J or at least this name is stated on my receipt, when I tried to reach the boxes with the shoes that I was paying for, she reached them before me, slapped the box, trying to prevent me from touching the boxes, then she explained she wasn?t done with scanning. Understandable, but don?t be violent towards me as I was just trying to take home what I?m paying for.
Clarks needs hard working, professional staff, please hire better clarks. And get rid of these lazy women.

I was so impressed by the patience, calm professional approach of the young lady who spent ages helping my daughter and I try to find a comfortable pair of school shoes for uneven feet. I believe her name was Lous.
Nothing seemed too much trouble, what a fabulous service and a total credit she is to the store.

I think this store pressure s older people into buying extras they don't need. I don't agree with pressurised selling to older people.

Had a lovely experience for buying my daughter?s first school shoes. I was sceptical at first about getting clarks shoes or whether to just buy shoes from somewhere cheaper. However, Zuzie took a lot of care measuring and made me feel like it was definitely the right decision to spend a bit more and get them properly fitted. She even provided options similar she thought we would like when our original picked pair wasn?t available. She was lovely, friendly and very professional. I would definitely recommend :)

As others note, the range is quite poor, especially considering the size of the shop. You'll find just as good a range of shoes in the clothing shops in town, yet this is a dedicated shoe shop!That said they did have something I was looking for, but had I wanted similar styles - forget it.Main issue is ultra pushy sales staff. Too desperate for a sale and act as if everyone that walks into the shop will leave with a pair of shoes.

Very little choice, although good for well made and fitting children shoes. This visit I wanted waterproof men?s trainers; hardly any choice, and astronomical prices.

There was a need to change a pair of shoes purchased the previous afternoon. The staff could not have been more understanding and helpful. Their approach to the situation was a very much appreciated display of good customer - staff - relationship.

As an Autistic adult I am very sensitive regarding my feet and shoes, as well as crowds. Today I was in the area on business, and was worried that my shoes weren't fitting correctly (particularly as I've just started breaking-in my first ever pair of custom orthotics). Fortunately, Abbie was able to kindly, politely and patiently re-measure me and check that my shoes did still fit me fine. Thank you very much for allaying my fears and offering me some first-class customer service!
