It was my first time meeting Carl, who was very chirpy, he changed my Drive Belt with no problems in roughly half hour, he is a great mobile mechanic, I would definitely be using him again ?UPDATE: Unfortunately the second time I asked Carl to change a part on my car, he didn't actually change anything and pretended that it had been done. Had to go to a real mechanics to get it all sorted out, costing me twice so was out of pocket. Will never use again and also he wouldn't answer the phone to me to come back and sort out the problem with rocker cover gasket. Terrible!

Was told a time and date that car could be looked at. No one turned up - after an hour, I phoned and i was told that the mechanic could not get to me. It would have been nice if they'd called and told me, rather than leave me waiting. Maybe they don't need the business?!

I contacted Carl after reading all the positive reviews in order to get starter motor replaced. I was replied to in good time with a quote and date time was agreed for the fix to be done on the driveway. The evening before the date, I asked a question regarding which starter motor he was planning to use ? Up until this point he had been replying to messages courteously but I received no reply to this question neither did he turn up next day morning as planned. I spent entire day not knowing whether car was getting fixed or if I had to start checking with other garages. I tried to call and also texted to check if everything was ok and whether he would be coming to fix the car. No response. Also this meant I had lost the two days and car repair was further delayed which added to my worry as I need the car daily for school and activity runs for my son and i worried it would just give up at some point. This is the first bad experience i have had with a car mechanic. The least he could have done was to let me know that he was cancelling the job, going AWOL is unprofessional. There is a concern in my mind whether something happened to his phone or if there has been an unfortuante reason for why i was ghosted so I just hope there was a reason for why he treated a customer this way. I will certainly never consider using the services of this garage again.
