We were recommended to go to Chelmer Village Opticians by our Good Friends and to ask for Ray.We booked our eye tests - done by Ren, who is very thorough and caring.Ray then helped Alan to choose his frames. My prescription had not changed BUT I am a Glasses Addict! And was looking for a 2nd pair of Silhouette spectacles. They have a very wide range there. The ones I liked had the Orchid colour surround and I preferred a graduated pink tint lens. Ray helped me through the whole process. He knew exactly what I wished to achieve. And they are sooo beautiful. Much appreciation to Ray and his Team. We will both be Customers for life.

Reglazed two existing frames and I'm very impressed with the results. They returned impeccable, like new. The best place in Chelmsford for Zeiss and Essilor lenses, for the best price. Excellent service from informative staff.

We love coming to Chelmer Village Opticians, they?re friendly and knowledgable. They?ve helped with my children?s regular glasses and also with coloured glasses for my daughter?s dyslexia. I highly recommend them.

My mother is notoriously hard to please and quite frugal. Recently, after our move to the area, I decided to register her at this optician's office since she hadn't had her eyes checked in years and was struggling to see without her glasses.From the moment we walked in, the staff exhibited exceptional warmth and kindness. They treated her with the utmost care and empathy, which immediately put her at ease.Despite her initial reluctance, she needed new lenses, a fact she was convinced she could do without. However, she went to pick them up ahead of schedule and sent me not one but two voice messages filled with sheer joy and amazement. For the first time in years, she could see clearly.Furthermore, she couldn't stop talking about how nice and accommodating everyone at the optician's office was during her visit. To put it mildly, pleasing my mother is no easy feat, but somehow, this team went above and beyond.It was a heartwarming experience to witness her happiness. I wholeheartedly want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional staff at this optician's office. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are not just great opticians; they provide a level of care and compassion that is truly second to none.

I went to this opticians to get my sunglasses fixed - they had snapped on the hinge (by my son) and after trying several other places this was the only place that said they could help me.Customer service was amazing. Couldn?t recommend enough
